PAAIA -- On January 22, 2009, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Tamila Ebrahimi Ipema to the San Diego Superior Court bench. Judge Ipema was appointed to a seat vacated by Judge Jan Goldsmith, who won election in November as San Diego city attorney. Judge Ipema has been a court commissioner in San Diego Superior Court since April 2008. Prior to that, Judge Ipema was a commissioner for the Los Angeles County Superior Court and an assistant district counsel for the US Department of Justice>>>
