by BK (not verified) on

First of all, you have NO proof the 16 year old girl was being used as a shield. So do not spread malicious rumors or make false accusations.

Second, if the Islamic Republic murderers were not shooting at the innocent Iranians, there would no need for shield of any kind in the first place.

Do not try to deflect responsibility and make excuses for that heinous crime. The poor young girl was murdered by the Islamic Republic thugs. And it is with the Islamic Republic and its supporters, and they alone, that the responsibility of her murder and the murders of all other innocent Iranian rests. End of story

Vive la Persian Joan d 'Arc

by KayvanNYC (not verified) on

Vive la Persian Joan d 'Arc

Readers should note that the images of Iranian Women are the true reality.

If you watch all the Youtube videos you can see women charging into the crowd head-scarf first....

So far, the myth of docile, cowering, 2nd -class citizens is nowhere to be found.

Instead we have visions of Female fortitude that are shattering ALL sterotypes:

-Women kicking the Basij in the groin

-One lone women protecting the motorcyle rider against a mob of 10 kicking men

-Women jeering in Farsi at men hiding in streets "to go fight you wimps"

-Aged women picking up intifada rocks and handing them to the men hurling them

-Mousavi's Wife piercing glare and rose

-Walking beauties in sea of turmoil

-The solemn Neda

Female virtue may be the undoing of this paternalistic dinasaur regime; as no man can preserve his manhood, by just standing by

Heed the prediction:

Iranian women will be the Helen of Troy and Torjan Horse of this battle.....

Hi everyone, when the

by zebel20 on

Hi everyone, when the British government decided to declare war on Iraq, the British prime minister strictly confirmed that people under the age of 18 should not participate in any kind of demonstration what so ever, now they are showing a poor 16 year old girl caught in a gun fire and died a while after.

I really don’t care now if the election was rigged or not, I care about those under 18’s being used as a shield by the opposition to achieve their political goals.

I have to say, if you have a child, you would unconditionally love and care and try to provide for your own. Now on the international level, I have to say, the English or the Americans don’t care a bit about us, they are just interested in their own affairs and interest over our great nation of Iran, as they are taking full advantage of the crises in progress.

Oh my Neda, Oh my Voice, the Voice of Iran...

by Charlotte (not verified) on

OH my Neda, my voice, God Bless YOU! Rest in Peace girl...

You are the voice of Iran.... God heard your voice, took you, but left your voice behind instead! thank you...

People know that Neda's death, wasn't just an accident, Neda means voice and as she lost her life, she gave birth to the birth of a new era, a new Iran and a new revolution. She died with her eyes open, looking at her God, begging her to bless us all and bless our revolution and as she left us, chosen carefully by our God, the one that is inside of all our hearts and on all our minds these days, her name meaning " Voice" became so beautifully the voice of Iran, the voice of all boys and girls, of our nation, so beautifully telling us that yes, I am with you, I am walking along side the streets with you and blessing you, boys and girls of the future of Iran.
People of the planet, people of the Earth, Neda is us, we are all Neda's and Neda is our voice, we are all Neda's!
God Bless HER SOUL! GOD BLESS IRAN

Those filthy basiji who have shown their right face, massacering innocent young people, should know that once the tide is turned they AND their families will be hunted down like animals and slaughtered for their crimes. It is important to send this signal to the members of the regime security apparatus that this is a game where they have a lot to lose. Filthy islamic bastards. Where are you going to run when people crush your criminal lords and goverment?!

It seems he was able leak some of the legitimate results from the election that were later included in the following analysis:

It is important we know what happened to this man.

1 Hamvatan (not verified)

Neda the world will not be the same without you.

by DesertBoy (not verified) on

Neda,

I pray that your flowing blood drowns those who chose to silence your voice with their violence.

I hope that one day they will look in the mirror when nobody is around and know that they killed an innocent teenager.

I pray that one day they have to answer to themselves not to the world. . .how they justified their beliefs and actions.

I hope one day when they are hugging their own daughters, they are haunted by the thought that they took the life of another's daughter!

I for one will never be the same having witnessed what they did to you. . .

Neda joonam this is no solace, but I hope you can get the message:

Only the weakest ideas that can't stand the scrutiny of logic, need to be protected by violence.

Sleep oh dear angel, and may you feel pain no more. I don't know if there is a God, but if there is one. . .I hope he was watching today. . .

I've watched neda's video 99 times... Is this a nightmare? na.... watch it again... look at the computer time, is it midnight? am I dreaming?
my little son keeps looking at me, kissing me, wondering why am I crying and screaming my heart out....vaayyy, khodaaaaaaaaa, kojaieeeee???? nakone to ro ham filter kardan too tehran......cheraaaaaaa, khodaaaaaa..... she was just 16....

here is how this heavy pain in our life happened:

//www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=89928823...

Basij shots to death a young woman in Tehran's Saturday June 20th protests

At 19:05 June 20th
Place: Karekar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st.

A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim's chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.
The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St.
The film is shot by my friend who was standing beside me.
Please let the world know.

A few points to make.

First of all, people that are calling for the protesters to quit and go home you are cowards if the world were filled with your kind there would be no progress. It is an ugly thing that human lives have been lost just because of basic freedom, freedom that we take for granted in our own country. You should stand up and support these people not tell them to put their cause down.

I'm a 28 year old male, I'm no father so, I could never go through what the poor father in the video is going through I'm sorry for him. The world saw what happened and she will not go in vain. I'm crying for Nada, I've never met her, I'm not Iranian, I'm not even Arab but, this one video has touched me more than any I have seen in my entire life.
