by Anahid Hojjati on Sun Mar 15, 2009 06:01 AM PDTBoth my parents are from Lurestan and really:"Drood bar hameh Lurha and bar hameh Iraniha". That is true that lurs are very friendly. I lived in Abadan until I was eight. So I figure I must be simple and khaliband. Go figure.
everything sucks in that country.........
by Faribors Maleknasri M.D. (not verified) on Sun Mar 15, 2009 04:51 AM PDT......and only OMID rises and SHAHAB rises and happiness rises and the Richness of Poeple rises and life-confortablity rises and the self-sufficiency rises and self-sureness of poeple rises and the amount of products rises and the exports rise too and the self-defence-power of that nation rises and its self-confidence rises and the Value of their Arts rises and the technik get developped and that - as it is said some where else in this site - AHMAGH nation does not realize that the cure of all these bad things for the western imperialism is the oppening doors and windows of their country to that standing arround creatures barking and grunting and soon even deiing all because of HEMAGHAT of those AHMAGHHA in order that they can come and take away whatever they want compatible with the tradition of kings. the most beloved of which was the tradition of his majesty the last. he lays somewhere in Egypt. Just a random act of fun!
by Peykan on Sat Mar 14, 2009 04:00 AM PDTI don't think there is any ethnic explanation for this cell-phone clip. These are just a bunch of bored kids who have got excited by probably a rare event (snowfall in their town) and are making the most of it. It's a random act of fun and recklessness not a ritual habit embedded in the Luri gene or traditions. There are chances to get the same reaction, probably in Lahijan, Natanz, Saveh or Zabol...

fun people!
by irani 1 (not verified) on Fri Mar 13, 2009 09:03 PM PDTLurs are some of the friendliest people in Iran.I have a friend from Khoramabad that I have known for many years and he is a down to earth guy even though he is a well to do .One thing that I still do not understand is that I always thought Bakhtiaris and lurs were the same and when I call a Bakhtiari a lur they would say no were are Bakhtiari and not Lur and they would get offended as if I have insulted them.
