I believe it was this "najes" individual decree that virgins should not be executed that gave the green light to Basij and Pasdar forces to RAPE women before their executions.  I believe he says that in his published memoir.

He is no better than the rest of criminal moslem clerics, in his old mind, he is claiming innocent by telling on others ... he was of main part of the Rat face gang.

New Appointment

I am appointing moqtada with the title of(the dead ayatollah)as the new spiritual leader of Shia faith in place of the current one. He will be assigned a nice resident and reasonable salary in his chosen place in iran with professional expectations (publication, books, interview, conference, doenstic and foreign trip, etc.)with every four years review by other ayatollahs for renewal of his contract for another four years. He will be retired at the age of 65 with retirement package and will be replaced by a new one.

He is a great man; none of us is willing to neglect th eoppotunities ahead. He was supposed to be the next leader of Iran, but he neglected that and instead told the truth. I think he represents the good will of 12 imam shia faith clergy man in Iran and when I was working in the plan and budget organization of iran for a year and half 1982-1984 (known as the organization without budget and without plan) for a year and half with a salary that could not afford to rent a one bedroom apartment, I pubished several academic books one of them with a reference to him with a quote reagrding his view on agriculture and excessive rural-urban migration--

"keshavazi baayad sarf bokonad"

By the way I used some of my research in my doctoral dissertation which later on published as a book in 1985 by the university press of america: rural-urban migration, squatter settlements...: case of Iran.

I think ayatollah like all the other salary professional should be retired at certain age, and he definitely has passed the retirement threshold---

He did not read the script

There are many Iranians who would say similar things.
But in fact Montazeri is the person who started the "velaiat-e-faghih" thing. And he was the designated heir, however he did not read the script and was not sold on complete control of IRI and he was deposed like the Mojahedin's.
