Is playing music allowed in Iran?

by curious (not verified) on

Back in the day when I left Iran, they did not allow listening or playing music except for classical music.

Question for those of you who have been traveling to Iran in recent years, is this type of music (e.g., Techno, etc.) allowed in Iran?

Regarding their break dancing -- I'm speechless, it is GREAT!

Why don't they get involved in gymnastics? too bad!

by gol-dust on

In my gymnastics years I wished we had more youths interested in gymnastics. Seeing this makes me more hopeful, not as a culture, as long as they don't copy the attitude that comes with it. They need to be introduced to a serious gymnastics so we can go against the chinese and americans. talented guys!
