Alaskans Speak (In A Frightened Whisper): Palin Is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive, And Mean”
by Charley James posted on Friday, 5 September 2008
“So Sambo beat the bitch!”
This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.
According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.
“It was kind of disgusting,” Lucille, who is part Aboriginal, said in a phone interview after admitting that she is frightened of being discovered telling folks in the “lower 48” about life near the North Pole.
Then, almost with a sigh, she added, “But that’s just Alaska.”
Racial and ethnic slurs may be “just Alaska” and, clearly, they are common, everyday chatter for Palin.

No, he's not joking. He's deliberately slandering her. Because she is white. He's accused me of being in the KKK half a dozen times, even though I've never made a racist comment on this website.
Captain Ayhab
by ramin parsa on Tue Nov 24, 2009 02:27 AM PSTARE YOU SERIOUSLY JOKING?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What about this clip proves that Palin is a racist??????
Just because she brings up Obama's numerous shady associations, something that McCain should have done himself, you accuse her of being a racist???
Again, and louder: ARE YOU JOKING?!!!!!!
This guy was running for the freaking Presidency of the United States of America and he sat in a church for 20 YEARS and heard numerous anti-America sermons from a RACIST priest and he did not abandon the hate-spewing church!
This guy was cohorting with a KNOWN WHITE terrorist, who killed people! Are we to not bring this stuff up, just because he's black????!
If Hilary Clinton or Mitt Romney had had these sorts of shady associations, I WOULD WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT as I go into the voting booth, not because I'm a racist, but because it reflects on the poor judgement of the man or woman running for higher office!
Bill Ayers, the world famous terrorist, bombed buildings and killed people, and Obama was one of his associates (and he says he was totally unaware of the terrorist's past???).
How freaking convinient!
Are we not to ask a guy who's running for the freaking PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA why he cohorted with a known terrorist who bombed building and killed people? Are we not to consider that fact as we consider voting for him to the HIGHEST OFFICE IN THE LAND?
Are you freaking serious?!
And if we bring up these shady associations, we're suddenly a "racist," just because Obama happens to be black????
AGAIN, AND EVEN LOUDER: Are you serious?
There is NOTHING -- ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! -- in this clip of yours that proves one ounce, not one scintilla of racism on Palin's part!!!
Are you sure you're sane?
Is Ayhab a racist bigot?

Palin
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Nov 23, 2009 07:38 PM PSTPalin is one of the most clueless and unqualified politicians in America today. Her choice spoke more about McCain's poor judgment than anything.
I would be shocked if she could find Iran on a map. Even more shocked if she knew the difference of Iran and Iraq or Afghanistan for that matter.
If she is ever made president policy will be set by her handlers and "advisers". Huh? When I think of it; won't be much different than any other administration.

There are many female repliers here, none of which called me " Sexist ". I wish not to dedicate much more energy to this thread. I have no ill wish for you. Your opinion is respected. Shir-o-Khorshid and Pedro
by ramin parsa on Sun Nov 22, 2009 10:58 PM PSTI know all about the symbolism and importance of the shiro-khorsid on our flag -- and I hope it returns one day. But it's your version of shiro-khorshid that is suspect -- it is the one used by the Mujahedin, and not the version that was used in Iran for much of the 20th century.
Pedro, I've lived in America since 1977, and I don't even know what that has to do with anything. Palin's NOT the first politician in the history of the US to have a baby, but you single her out and admonish her to go home and take care of her baby.
For that, you deserve the lable "sexist." period. And by the way, I rather take an American hillbilly over a leftist European any day of the week!
If it weren't so funny, I would ask her to shut up

Do not feel bad, I lived there a few years and took me 2 years to distinguish between rednecks and usual folks, hill billies and typical Americans.
Ramin jan, I was expressing my concern for the new born she has and that the new born will be deprived of motherly love, care and attention if she gets too involved in politics. Listen, good looks can take you so far, she could not handle the headaches of being a governor, who the hell she can survive 4 hours in white house? Mesle khar be gel geer mikoneh. Anyway, what did give you the impression that I might be a mojahed? Is it my "shiro khorshid" avatar? If so, get some history lessons. It seems needless to me to try to educate you on "shiro khorshid" here since there is alot on the net on the subject one of which is the fact that "shiri khorshid" is not reserved by any political nor terrorist organization. It is for and belongs to all Iranians.
Are you btw somehow related to this "lady"? You seem to get gheryrati when others comment in a negative manner on her behaviour.

Pedro, "Q," (Yolanda), Emil and Irandokht
by ramin parsa on Sun Nov 22, 2009 02:23 AM PSTPedro -- you should be ashamed of yourself for making such a sexist comment as "go home and take care of your child." You sound like a world-champion sexist fiend. You should be ashamed of yourself, except you have no shame.
Q -- I hope you know you're lying. I also know that it can be difficult at times to distinguish between fact and fiction if your job is to disseminate misinformation around the clock, which you seem to have ample time for on this site.
Just so Yolanda knows, India is one of those countries that imports 30-40% of Iran's domestic gasoline usage. India is also a country that does enormous business with America. As such, if the US succeeds in exerting pressure on India, then it does NOT have to go to the circus at the UN security counsel. Do you hear me, Q? And if 40% of Iran's internal gasoline were suddenly cut off, there would be hell to pay by the mullahs. Now go spin your misinformation, Q. By the way, what publication do you write for? I heard from one of your cronies that you're a "writer." Who's your publisher?
Emil -- You write that Sara Palin is one of the "dumbest creatures" on the planet... Frankly, you almost ALWAYS sound like one of the most illiterate, biased, if not least intelligent bloggers on this site. Look into the mirror, pal. Long and hard. You have a lot in common with your polluted version of Sarah Palin.
Irandokht writes, "despite her low popularity, obvious ignorance and bigotry."
Your abjectly despicable comment is borderline slanderous. It's typical of someone like you! Show me one instance of bigotry attributed to Sarah Palin? JUST ONE! And the mere fact that she's white and a conservative will not suffice (I know for you that's plenty enough, but in the sane, rational world that does not amount to bigotry).
Your despicably biased, patently false and desperate attacks on a fellow woman are shameless! Craig has got you pegged to a tee.
I wonder if Americans are that dumb to vote for this cow girl?

Please do me a huge favor in the future: please do not click on the "reply" on my post....if other people hate my post, I can take down my post right away....but if people have clicked on "reply" on my post, my post will be trapped & stranded.....I have to flag my own post to take it down.....I have been called a "hypocrite" twice....so I am kind of a little nervous now! :O)))

Yolanda, of course it will survive!
by Q on Sat Nov 21, 2009 01:14 PM PSTFirst of all, it's not going to happen. US Government has control only over US companies, and putting pressure on those (or foreign companies doing business with US) will only increase the market share of state-run companies in China, Russia and India.
The only real way this is possible is through a UN Security Council vote which will be very drastic and no one foresees it happening. UNSC did it to Saddam Hussein only after his invasion of Kuwait and even then, it didn't work.
Forget Gasoline, everything was embargoed from Iraq in 1990's, and 2/3 of the country's air was controlled by US and still Saddam's government carried on for 10 years and would have kept going for the foreseeable future.
Iran itself was de-facto blockaded during the Iran/Iraq war. People just went on rations, and things got expensive. The people hurt the most leading to a large immigration. In addition smugglers and black marketeers win big.
By the way, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad already tried to implement rationing, just like in the 80's, partly as preparation for a situation like this. The nuclear energy drive is also driven by this fear.
This only increases government power as it essentially owns all means of import and distribution. Both during the 80's in Iran, and the 90's in Iraq, the government became more and more authoritarian. This trend has been reversed in the years since the war, but now it is starting again with Ahmadinejad.
He did not have the political power to implement the rationing, but if there's an embargo, it will be done, no questions asked.
......
by yolanda on Sat Nov 21, 2009 12:55 PM PSTHi! Q,
I have a hypothetical question. If it is a rude question, please ignore my question, I won't feel offended at all. Here is my question:
If what Palin said is true that US and other countries will ban gasoline import to Iran, can Iran survive the gasoline embargo?
I read this article several months ago:
//www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1910669,00.html
I want IRI to fall, but I don't want to see Irainians suffer the negative consequences of gasoline embargo....of course, we don't know if gasoline embargo will ever take place or not......

And count me in that 71%. What does that have to do with Palin's obvious popularity as a person? And aren't the attacks you make on Palin personal attacks, rather than attacks on her qualifications? And be honest here... nobody is as mean and nasty towards a politian as you are towards Palin just because they don't feel they are qualified for office.
and if you care to even appear half credible: Show me one time I padded anyone on the back for bigotry or shut it!
So, I take it you are admitting to the other half of my accusation? So why do I need to prove the rest? A bigot is a bigot. And thanks for telling me to shut up, but I think I'll decline.
