The link to Khalil Oghab story was great. I especially liked the comments from the folks. Here are two of them
بله، ایشان بچه در سنگ سیاه شیرازند. پدرشان "درویش اکبر" نام داشت. درویش
اکبر وقتی به مناسباتی "هوو" می‌کشید بازارچه را میلرزاند. ما بچه بودیم
و یکی از تفریحات هیجان انگیزمان تماشای پهلوان خلیل بود که سر ظهر خودش
را میرساند زیر بازارچه به دکان نان سنگکی و کبابی. از تعداد نان و مقدار
کباب که صرف مینمودند درست نیست بنویسم. فقط بدانید که دکان کبابی قرق
میشد و آن روز به مشتری دیگری کباب نمیرسید. عمرش درازتر باد
خلیل عقاب دریک خانواده مذهبی وکم درآمد کار ورزش وپهلوانی را از زورخانه
های قدیم شیراز شروع کرد او میگفت با خوردن نان خشک و بضاعت کم رشد
ونموکرده است تا جایی که با دندان وفک خود فیل یک تنی را اززمین بلند
میکند نه مثل بعضی از پهلوان پنبه هاى ما که با خوردن داروهای خارجی خودرا
باد میکنند
