Thank you sooooo much for the link, I read it. Wow, the lady studied Philology (Linguistics)..... no wonder she knows etymology so well! She is not Iranian!

Since when did Russian women look like THAT!?

Yolanda, her "Hot for Words" program has become very popular! I even saw her on Fox News a while back. I'm not sure how much people are expanding their vocabulary, but they are certainly watching at least! :)

 More etymology lessons please! I love it!  I know 3 words with Persian origin: algorithm (Al Khwarizmi), assassin (Hashshashin), and pajamas (paa jaameh)....Can we have more dignified and less flirtatious presentators? so we won't get distracted and we can concentrate better? :O))
