The goal is to liberate ethnic minorities in Iran.

The threat to seperate from the central government should be alarming.  It should lead to the central government attempting to alleviate the problems of ethnic minorities in Iran.  That is the goal of such an action.

I am for the liberation of ethnic minorities in Iran.

You on the other hand are for a dictatorship of your views.

And your views are just plain nutty.

Be aware,  American Dream is not IRANIAN , write and may be speaking farsi but he is not IRANIAN in fact he hates Iranian and IRAN , see below.

You don't know anything about the Kurds.

The Kurds want an independant Kurdistan.  They have been fighting the Iranian central government for over 100 years.  One day they shall be free and they will break away from Iran once and for all.

As for the Baluchis, they too will get their independence.  They will break away from the Iranian central government and create greater Buluchistan.

And the great freedom loving Iranians of Khuzistan, The tomb Islands, Kish Island and Abu Musa Island will also break away and create Arabistan.  These people will all be free.

If you don't like the West or America go back to Iran freedom5.  No one is forcing you to stay here.  Stop using the english language to post stuff on this site.

My response to the comment about:

for lived in the 70's........ We shouldn't even call those 6 million morons who took part in the 1979 "revolution" Iranians, more like Americanized hippy-wannbe liberal douche-bags, islamist Arab wannabes, and paranoid communists..... And now all these baffons are regretting every second of their ignorant action.

Thank god the Iranian youth of today is fighting to take everything back.... fvck all the islamists ".

I don't know who the 6 million Iranians were.  I was a youngster born and raised in the United States when the Iranian Revolution took place.  It could have been anywhere between 6 million and 30 million.

I would not agree with the statement that the people were more like Americanized hippy...  Americans would never accept a theocracy.  Hippies from my experience don't follow organized religion.

As I wrote before the Iranian Revolution was an Iranian phenomenon.  You can curse those 6 to 30 million people that took part in that revolution.  None of those people are related to me.

You are free to call them "madar jend*hs", "pedar s*gs", "har**m zadehs", etc.

I really don't give a rats a$$.

I have always written there must have been a reason that the Shah fell.  A reason that has nothing to do with the U.K., U.S., and the Soviet Union.  The fall of the Shah was because of internal unrest.  On January 16, 1979 the Shah freely left Iran to go into exile and die in Egypt on the 27th of July 1980.

And those youth you refer to follow an Iranian Shia Cleric by the name of Mehdi Karoubi.  And Mousavi has a full beard.  How are they any different from the theocracy?  As I have always written the green movement just prolongs the life blood of the theocracy.

None of this is an insult to Iranians.  It is what it is.

It is my firm belief that you do not know what being an Iranian means.

The author of the Iranian epic poem the Shahnameh was Abul Ghasem Firdowsi.  Firdowsi was an religious Shia Muslim.  His first name was arabic.

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi attended Haj.  He was supported by some Shia Clerics.  His first name was arabic.

To put it simple in the Persian language...

African American, Black American, Afro American, brother are terms that have evolved with time dealing with people whose ethnic background is from the people who were brought to the United States in chains as slaves.  No other ethnic group has that historical background.  People who immigrated to the United States from Iran came here freely.  There are many other countries they could have immigrated to.  At the present time there are 3rd generation german citizens whose grand parents immigrated from Iran.

America and the U.K. didn't trade the Shah for anything.  30 million Iranians evicted the Shah in 1979.  It is high time that you understand that.

Some Iranians blame the Brits, Americans and the Russians for their own shortcomings.  That is blatantly wrong.

You should stop acting silly on this site and be real.

I am not opposed to Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's rule.  From 1941-1979 there was progress in Iran in some areas.  That is the past.  We are living in 2009 today.

Keep up with the present.

Reza shah died for Iran because Brits feared that he would make an alliance with Germans and would change the course of history FOR IRAN and Germany. That's why they put him in exile under house arrest and poisoned him gradually, as they did the same to Napoleon. It's called "ba panbeh sar boreedan". As they did the same to the Shah.

Why do we question our integrity. Question our ideologies but not our integrity. Say his management style was wrong, say his arrogance was wrong, say his push for change wasn't timely. Criticize his practice but not his intention. That way we don't have to go for each other throats and we could find a common ground to make the past a lesson for the future.

Can't you all just be quiet, and take this for what this is! This
is just a piece of historical document. Take it or leave it!

For us who had the pleasure or was unlucky enough of being born
after the revolution this is interesting as a piece of Iran's
history, and it is paramount that these documents are saved and kept
for the future generation.

It is important to see both sides of the matter!

Not just the side deemed right by the victors!

by Nousha Arzu on

I only feel pity for the pea-sized embiciles on this site who get their kicks by being patently stupid. All of you irrational Pahlavi haters belong in a cage, in a zoo, preferrably without food and water.

The truth is this: The Shah was an uber patriot, he loved Iran, not Islam. Did he make some critical mistakes? Absolutely. But they were mistakes made in good faith, trying to wake up his nation, even if forcibly, from a 1,000-year dream of behesht and Imam Hussein.

Indeed, all he wanted to do was resurrect the carcass that was his country, thanks to 200 years of mismanagement and treason by the Qajars and the mullahs. When Reza Shah took over in 1925, Iran was the Zimbabwe of Asia. In 1978, Iran had the same exact GDP as Spain. When the West had invented trains, planes and automobiles by 1908, we got our FIRST bicycle in Iran in that year under the rule of the Qajars, and it was an import!!!

The traitors and the massively arrogant (and stupid) youth of 1978 were so obsessed with HOW FAR we had to go to become their version of Utopia on Earth, they never considered HOW FAR we had come in a very short 53 years under the rule of the Pahlavis.

Today, Iran has the highest per capita rate of heroin addicts in the world, over 600,000 prostitutes in Tehran alone, 40% of which are married, massive brain-drain, obscene corruption, massive unemplyoment (25%), rampid inflation, etc, etc.

And mind you, the perverted mullahs have had the benefit of 30 long years of OPEC fair market value for Iran's oil. The Pahlavis, on the other hand, ONLY had 5 years of fair market value for Iran's oil (1973 thru 1978).

In 1971, a barrel of oil was $3, while in 1951, it was $1, of which Iran only received 33% while BP pocketed the rest, thanks to a Qajar contract signed with the British in 1908.

By contrast, the mullahs were taking in as much as $140 per barrel in the summer of 2008 alone!!! -- 30 years of OPEC fair market value, and what do they have to show for it? Just consider the recent illicit shipment of $18 BILLION in cash and gold that was confiscated in Turkey (a shipment from Tehran destined for the Lebanese Hezbollah).

The record speaks for itself (except if you're a craven hezbollahi, a robotic mujahed, a treasonous communist or a decadent Qajar), what the Pahlavis accomplished in Iran was the REAL REVOLUTION, and what the Islamo-fascists have done to Iran since 1979 was/is a COUNTER-REVOLUTION

Everything else is hezbollahi claptrap and mullah misinformation by fossilized vermin, who to this day, publicly spew the blasphemous lies and deceit so very characteristic of the Islamic "revolution."

To hell with Iran's traitors and their benefactors -- long live the late great Shah of Iran! Long live his heroic father, the glorious giant that was Reza Shah the Great!!! Long live the tortured land of Iran in the patriotic hands of Iranians, and only Iranians!

LONG LIVE THE GLORY OF KUROSH

Just wondering?

by Safa Ali on

I want to do a survey on this site to see who is more hated, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi or Ali Khameini?

I'm curious because everytime a thread pops up about the late Shah, he seems to get a lot of hate from you guys, but if somebody posts a video of Khameini or Khomeini or some dip shit who actually deserves the hate blogging more than anyone else, I don't see much going on.

So if you could please post who you hate more, that would be awesome.  I just want to know your views so I can get a better picture of what the majority of Iranian American's political opinions are in this matter.

If you are so opposed to America and western civiliazation for that matter why don't you go and live in Iran?

Ayat'Allah Khamenei will welcome you with open arms.

It is high time that you and your likes go back to where you came from.

If anyone is a vatan foroosh it is you.  what is an iranian american?

What does that mean?

In America, the only thing that exists are Americans, permanent residents and visa holders.

A permanent resident and a visa holder are citizens of other countries.  An Iranian green card holder in America is still legally deemed an Iranian citizen.

one example is a Sunni Muslim cleric who has Iranian citizenship:

//www.miaminewtimes.com/2009-10-08/news/unholy-war-fbi-tries-to-deport-north-miami-beach-imam-foad-farahi-for-refusing-to-be-an-informant/

What is your status?

A U.S. Passport has the following printed in it:

Loss of Citizenship.  Under certain circumstances, you may lose your U.S. citizenship by performing the following acts:

(1)  being naturalizaed in a foreign state;

(2) taking an oath or making a declaration to a foreign state;

(3) serving in the armed forces of a foreign state;

(4) accepting employment with a foreign government; or

(5) formally renouncing U.S. citizenship before a U.S. consular officer overseas.

It is possible that you are a Dual Citizen.

Inside the U.S. passport it writes:

Dual Citizens.  A person who has the citizenship of more than one country at the same time is considered a dual citizen.  Citizenship may be based on facts of birth, marriage, parentage, or naturalization.  A dual citizen may be subject to all the laws of the other country that considers that person its citizen while in its jurisdiction.  This includes conscription for military service. Dual citizens who encounter problems abroad should contact the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.

It must be noted that there is no American Embassy or Consulate in Iran since 1979.  And the American Interests section is located in the Swiss Embassy.  The Swiss Embassy is located in Shahid Sharif Imanez, Elahiyeh, Tehrān, Tehran, Iran.

It would be odd if you hold an Iranian passport.  Chances are you do.  And for you to type such two faced garbage on this site is amazingly stupid.

If you don't hold a valid Iranian passport than what do you have to validate that you are an "Iranian American".   Absolutely nothing.

It is high time that you pack your bags and decide what you are.  If you decide to move back to Iran let me give you the site where you can get an Iranian passport:

www.daftar.org

As for me I am American and let me tell you I am loving it.

FYI,

All,  you should read his views about Iranian and the Islamic Fascist Republic. I feel petty for the guy his biggest dream was to become an American. I am compelled to share some of his view with you , may be you can have benevolence on the this guy,

This is his veiw of Iranian people , first he call himself an American, not even an Iranian American... well okay may be he doen't know the difference. Now please read.....

Quote,

I believe as an American, the best form of government in Iran is a democratic republic like the United States.  What types of social freedoms should a democratic republic of Iran have?  The same freedoms we see in Amsterdam. I know a lot of Iranians who are predominantly Shia Muslims and they drink like fish.  They drink so much alcohol.  And a lot of them smoke that opium stuff.  Many of the men are womanizers and their wives also carry on adulerous relationships.  unquote

and here is American dreams final touch and his mighty opinion in regards to Mullah's rule in IRAN. You will be the judge.

quote from American Dream

Do I see the theocracy going away in Iran?

No.  It will evolve with time.  The more pressure by Iranians the more the theocracy will change so they can stay in power.  The Iranian theocracy is willing to make pork and alcohol "Halal" if they can stay in power.  God knows the Revolutionary Guards help introduce satellite dishes into Iran and take in money for it.

That being said, things will take time to change.

Unquote, rest my case.

AD, I know history. That's how I detect bastardization in yours

by Shashoo on

That Reza Shah dies in SA is no revelation and has little to do what he died for, regardless of one's position on him. By your flawed logic, anyone that did not die in their own country cannot die for their country. And as for Mongolian occupation, all I would say is their progeny would only get educated and speak Parsi by daddy's orders because they soon realized what time it was. Centuries later you still have not. I won't engage a historical discussion with ommatie like you because from your crooked summary of history one can readily see where you get your information and besides your view of the world comes from some bs belief so no sense in engaging an exercise in futility.

What I said was accurate.

Reza Khan died in South Africa.

How could he have died for Iran in South Africa.

After 1941 Reza Khan was under house arrest in South Africa.

Try to refute this fact and any historian will laugh in your face.

As for your comment about the theocracy, you are way off point there also.

The time to call anyone opposed to propoganda as a supporter of the theocracy is gone.

In 2009 anyone and everyone can criticize the monarchy and the theocracy freely.

Your ignorance to the matter just shows that you have no clue what is going on.
