Manila, Philippines (AsianVolleyball.org) -- Monday’s championship match at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium set the stage for a showdown of Asian volleyball supremacy. Japan emerged from the four-set match (19-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-22) as the 15th Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Gold Medallists. The Japanese victory marked the seventh gold medal finish out of their fifteen appearances in the tournament. Though Iran won only a silver after hard struggle, this is the best result they grabbed in their thirteen participation in the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship. Iran only won a bronze medal in 2003 >>>

Can you imagine if these Athletes had the freedom and the facilities that you can find in Countries run by civilized Authorities?
You really have to appreciate what our Athletes do with what they have.
This is nothing new, of course. It was the same under the previous regime as well.
Thank you
