A movement who has Khomayni's grandson and Beheshti's son as their leaders seems like a plot to help prop up the theocracy.  Montazeri's letter just asks for the removal of the spiritual leader or at least an apology.  Then what?  more theocracy?

I do not know why people expect Mashadis to be religious? We are not Isfahanis, Kashanis or Tabrizis. We just make money on the religious people coming to see the shrine built over a guy who died of drinking too much wine.

The government has used the Qods day to divert the attention of the people of Iran from their misery and to blame an external force for all their misfortunes for dacades.  It is delightful to see thay have finally realized the energy and attention should go to government who has made their lives a living hell.  Blaming Jews for all the evils of the world is nothing new! though!
