MEDIA POWER...
by mimi.shishi on Mon Apr 12, 2010 04:18 AM PDT...It's funny how when EVER their is the slightest mention of a beautiful Iranian women in the world media making the SLIGHTEST buzz, be it a poet, a runner up for a Beauty queen contestant, a successful business woman who happens to be beautiful and happens to be interviewed by Oprah and praised for her beauty as well as intellect, almost IMMEDIATELY there comes a flood of report on how women in Iran have plastic surgery, use LOADS of make-up,and if they're thin and well porportioned, it's malnutrition!! If you're the hammer, beat the nail standing out...how DARE someone from the middle east in general and Iran in particular be beautiful?!! After all to the white-anglo-eye we're all Arabs, camel riding, ugly, and fanatic. The SAD part is Iranians buy into the crap as well...
