During my university days, one of my fraternity brothers was a Saudi. He drove a yellow Porsche Carrera, I drove a black 454 4-speed Corvette. He wore loud purple shirts, I dressed in black "greaser" getups.

But there was one place he wouldn't, couldn't go. I had a well trained blk/tan Doberman. Dogs for him were taboo. It was a world he couldn't fathom.

MH? I haven't bothered to go back to that thread. I've made my observations and offered a couple of responses. You know, Yousef, I don't get anything out of the typical knee-jerk reactions offered by the more traumatized exiles, found on this site. I'm here primarily to learn, but it often times it falls upon me to offer anything substantive and informative. There may come a day when I get bored with this. But don't get your hopes up too high for that happening anytime soon.

For many years, I handled Dobermans. But the last two dogs I've handled have been Airedale Terriers. It's actually a superior breed, in certain respects.

Not as fast, but more reliable under social conditions. Better at teamwork, too. And well renowned for their sense of humor.
