you never know with israel
by nikoo195 on Mon Aug 16, 2010 10:45 PM PDTAny Iranian that is aware of the current political situation is probably upset to say the least that war talk with Iran is intensifying. Iranians have a real chance of seeing the ruling clerigy crumble, its falling apart more and more. So why do the israelis keep intensifying war efforts when the mullahs will be gone soon? And sooner if we support the opposition?? Because...an iran that is friendly with US is bad for israel. No one likes to admit it, but Iran runs the middle east. They have proxies in Afghanistan, Iraq, syria, palestine, bahrain, UAE, Lebnon, the kurdish territories. All other countries are scared of Iranian power, especially the saudis and the lame unexperienced army. With a country has this much influence in the region, why would the US need israel??
Why doesnt Iran come to the table? Because no one takes Iran seriously, no one will recognize what Iran is capable of. Iran is whether you liek to admit it or not, is a regional power but they arent spoken to with the mutual respect. Human rights/economic issues aside, iranians have planted deep roots in the region and have the ability to make things happen. The US and allies speak to Iran like like politicians talk, very insincere. You can throw as many sanctions you want on top of Iran, all you are doing is making Iran more self sufficient. Iran is not a nation that can be bullied like the latin countries the US destroyed.
Israel doesnt want anyone to be aware of this, they need the americans help to survive. The only way Israel will survive is bullying. They dont know how to be diplomatic.
side note, Im not a ahmadinejad follower, but I cant stand when ppl use the "wipe israel off the map" line. It has been taken out of context(which all of us knows this) and neocons and zionists keep coming back to this misinterpreted phrase.
The King & I
by comrade on Mon Aug 16, 2010 04:58 PM PDTMy King is now in borrowed soil, his soul hovering the sky above,
His hands feel the moist beneath, His eyes frozen in time,
His case, beyond my reach...

by benross on Mon Aug 16, 2010 04:47 PM PDTHad His Majesty acted just a bit more accordingly, we would have seen neither.
Make a case for His Majesty. You don't expect HIM to do anything do you?!A different Angle

3 of the best people
by statira on Mon Aug 16, 2010 02:15 PM PDTIt's good to see that Fox news always invites good representatives of Iranians for interview. Be ghole ma Irania, sareshoon be taneshoon miarze.
Not like CNN who always interviews dophuses like Kaveh Afrasiabi, Larijani and Ahmaghinejad, and tries to embarrass Iranians.
3 idiots
by asadabad on Tue Aug 17, 2010 01:35 AM PDTDid i hear that one analyst correctly? "Iranians by nature are not aggressors" Of course, most people are peaceful in general but that doesn't mean aggressive politicians and military leaders don't exist in Iran. They do exist, and they have a strong say in Iranian politics. "in 2500 years Iran has only attacked twice" Are you kidding me? There was a Persian empire that conquered and enslaved its neighbors on a daily basis. Are we to believe those empires were built with flowers and lollipops? War was a way of life. War is still a way of life for every civilization. That is reality! Zod and Mary could barely speak English. Both were spewing nonsense. Since when is an actress considered an expert on International Law and Political Science?
There you have it, News for DUMMIES
by ghalam-doon on Mon Aug 16, 2010 11:12 AM PDTThanks to Fox news, the whole situation discussed and resolved in less than 4 minutes! Now back to our regular programming already in progress...

I can't believe Zod didn't
by Sargord Pirouz on Mon Aug 16, 2010 09:56 AM PDTI can't believe Zod didn't call the commenter on that old, deliberate mistranslation ("een rezhim-e eshghalgar-e qods bayad, az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad").
Majd was cool, though.
Hard to believe the level of ignorance exhibited over such an obvious pretext.
