BBC: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has fired Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, Iran's official Irna news agency reports. Initial reports gave no reason for the decision. There had been no indication Mr Mottaki, a key figure in Iran's nuclear negotiations with the West, was about to lose his job. News reports suggest Mr Ahmadinejad has appointed the country's top nuclear official to replace Mr Mottaki >>>

by Arthimis on Mon Dec 13, 2010 12:03 PM PSTNo PHD in the world makes one a proper human being with Awareness and Consciousness!!! That ONLY comes from within and with influence of healthy envoironment... In their case, they are actually very sick, insecure and fearful mentally to seek refuge in the one of the most backwarded ideaologies known to mankind! Especially when one was able to get a PHD!!!! That's even far more twisted situation.......GOD HELP IRAN!!!

by iamfine on Mon Dec 13, 2010 11:51 AM PSTLooking at his educational background with his PhD in nuclear physics at MIT, he will be a better candidate to run the show. I heard he speaks several languages.

HASSAN KACHAL OR KACHAL HASSAN
by afshinazad on Mon Dec 13, 2010 10:28 AM PSTWhat is the point, these are all same M****F's who serve their masters and they have no power nor the Brain. I would like to see all these basterds on the death row. enough of these monkeys.
the real implication is Khamanehee may be
by aynak on Mon Dec 13, 2010 10:06 AM PSTcloser to death than we thought. Motakki was Khamanaeh'ees implant and this tells one of the two things:
A--Either Khamanehee is way too ill (or dead)
B--Or he has become powerless
Either way, it shows a big shift in power play, particularly the way it was conducted. That the head of IAA was installed as replacement, may also be an attempt to signal "we are in control of the situation". Which makes me think A is the more likely scenario. We will see when/if the name of King Mojtaba will come to the press in the coming days, OR Rafsanjani's preemptive move to expose Mojtaba has already froze this plan in its place.
Gosh darn
by Doctor mohandes on Mon Dec 13, 2010 09:54 AM PSTI am extremely saddened by the above revelation and i want to cry rivers , and even oceans for the "cracks" and "fissures" feared deep in the Power structure and what it could mean to the future of Iran's politically and everything o lically...Damn man...
But.. for some reason i keep turning my focus on a far more attracted set of 'cracks" and "fissures" (especially in the underarm regions) of the hot babe on the right corner of this page..
Now, tell me. does that make me a traitor ?:(((
Bet You Mottaki will Run for the Next Elections as a "Reformist"
by Darius Kadivar on Mon Dec 13, 2010 09:53 AM PSTThe IRI is simply preparing it's options on the long term.
Like this if Ahmadinejad disappoints them or fails to check mate the West on the Nuclear Dilemma, they can always find someone to replace him to show the West that the IRI is open to negotiations again and Blah, Blah, Blah ...
Just hope the West Won't be Gullible as in the past in thinking any of these clowns are any different.
Same Shit !
.....

Ahmadi fired Mottaki while he was in Senegal. But it looks like the confrontation came to a head when Mottaki met with the new Japanese Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara in Bali, Indonesia and discussed a nuclear fuel exchange agreement

It looks like the crack between the uneducated thugs of the IR (Sepah/Basij/Ahmadi) and the Western-educated religious thugs (Larijani) is deepening
