Los Angeles Times: Defying a severe crackdown against the opposition and widespread political repression, Iranian students on Tuesday staged small anti-government protests throughout the country on the anniversary of Students Day. Amateur video footage taken during illegal protests on campuses throughout the country showed students chanting slogans from last year's huge demonstrations against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, whose widely disputed reelection last year spurred months of unrest. "Mahmoud, you traitor," they chanted on the grounds of Tehran's Sharif University. "Death to you!" >>>

A great Success, Salutations to Iran's, brightest and best!
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Wed Dec 08, 2010 07:55 PM PSTI feel so proud of our young students who yesterday so bravely defied the Islamist regime's "maxed up" state of terror by commemorating 16th Azar, the students day, all across Iranian university campuses, and turning this occasion into another day of protest against this islamist fascist regime.
The brave actions of these patriotic young souls was a decisive slap in the face of khamenei, ahmadinezhad and the entire corrupt, cowardly gang of Islamist regime's leadership. This was the proof that resistance is alive and kicking until the day the islamist regime is overthrown and it's leadership and paid mercenaries are brought to Justice

by ihateiri on Wed Dec 08, 2010 06:23 PM PSTYeah right,
those students want googoosh to play in Cafe Miami. Actually they want freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, the press, gender equality and equal rights for religious and ethnic minorities. The uncivilized people are the basij pigs and the Revolutionary pimps(Pasdars) who torture, rape, kill, steal and block progress. I prefer Cafe Miami to Kabul cabaret any old day! Jack Pot!

by IRI on Wed Dec 08, 2010 12:50 PM PSTOnce the students realize that, the Islamic Republic has no problem providing them permission to express their opinion. But unfortunately the country has vatan forush, such as MKO and LA foreigners who perfer to see Iran suffer so that they can have Googoosh back in Cabareh Miami!!
Zereshk.
Like any country, government will not tolerate loud and uncivilized people who want to take advantage of freedom of expression. It will all return as pre-election, as some has, once the small group show enough political and social maturity. Get it?
If you have problem with the core of the Islamic Republic then you don't count at all. Go revolt then you can talk.
