The significance of this interview is that Dehnamaki was not expected to say the things that he did, so the program ended abruptly, some 45 minutes before it should have, and the last few minutes, they distorted his sound so people couldn't hear what he was saying. See article in Parleman News.
Part 1: He says the Iranian government doesn't dare to let him show his film
Part 2: He says Iranian youth don't believe in Islam anymore
Part 3: He says there might come a day when Basij stands next to others to demand answers
Part 4: He says my hands are up, take me to Evin, too.):
Part 5: He says there is no reason to put the students who seek justice on trial
Part 6: Towards the end of the clip, his voice is distorted and the interview is cut short

If these are IRI's intelligentsia, who are the retards?!
by Omid Parsi on Sat Feb 06, 2010 10:42 AM PSTIt is amusing how the miserable IRI has bred its own firebrand Islamist mutation of "intelligentsia" and "cineasts" to dissect and discuss every word of gibberish that came out of the retarded supreme traitor Khomeini and his illiterate thugs!! No need to reference philosophy. Just beat the dead horse and read (or watch!) sermons and rants from dead thugs ("shahadaa"!!) and regurgitate it ad infinitum!!
What is even more farcical is the air of "critique" and gestures of "ennui" on the part of the Ansar-e-Hezbollah thug (cineaste!!) whose first work of "art" was probably the pictorial "chomaagh" tutorial, a fun poster detailing methods to injure, stab, kill and disembowel the "Monafeqeen" that was being handed out to the untouchable riffraff in the Namaaz Jomeh circa 1980!!
Before being flushed down the toilet of history, I want to see these Neanderthals try their hand in "fashion"!! Like: "Discover BO: The New Halaal Perfume by Mosayyeb"...!!!
Why does the set
by Anonymous Observer on Fri Feb 05, 2010 10:55 AM PSTlook like a Barbie doll house? Who designed it, Liberaci?!!
I have to say though, that even though Dehnamaki is another IRR "chaghookesh", I did like his back and forth. It shows division amongst the regime's elite, and that's a good thing for the people of Iran.
I got something else out of it...
by ahvazi on Wed Feb 03, 2010 11:17 PM PSTThe anchor keeps on trying to bring Dehnamaki in line with the sayings of Khamenei but he does not acknowledge it. I think the program should have run longer but based on what he was saying they decided to cut it short.
Thanks for the video... but not for the comments
by ziaian on Wed Feb 03, 2010 06:31 PM PSTVery interesting interview of Mas'ud Dehnamaki! Thanks for posting it.
What I understood from carefully listening to the interview is however quiet different from what the introductory comment and other comments with each part of the video suggest.
Dehnamaki is praising the Supreme Leader and those "mas'ulan" who live a modest life; he is criticizing those -whether in the government or in the opposition- who consider themselves táfteye jodábáfte, the ashráf, financial ashraf or political ashraf.
I found most strange the comment saying "... the program ended abruptly, some 45 minutes before it should have", when the anchor seems to announce at the end of the interview to Dehnamaki : "you have one minute left": "yek daqiqe vaqt dárid!".

He is so wrong!!!
by Benyamin on Mon Feb 01, 2010 02:10 PM PSTHe is well intended, but he is wrong!
The revolution didnot belong to bunch of Islamists, it belonged to all people of Iran with any color or stripes. but he repeated Islam and quated the leader left and right he embbaressed himself.
The revolution of 1979 didnot belong to islamists or nationalists it belonged to all the people of Iran and the reason some got killed was for seperating them from revolution and labling them anti revolutionery. most people that came along with khomeini ended up getting killed by him.
The Akhunds have phucked up and they have to go.YOUR TIME IS UP, NO TIME OUT!
Intelligent guy but what does he say?
by choghok on Mon Feb 01, 2010 02:06 PM PSTIn his talks he says that people should not fight each other but crticisise the system, but people are just doing that, they are protesting and are being beaten up by the system.
His talks are pretty similar to Ahmadinejad's, since he talks about injustice and not about freedom and rule of law. It is a bit populistic.
He does not say what is needed to get rid of all the corruption, free media and a non partisan judiciary.
What a strange interior design!
by choghok on Mon Feb 01, 2010 12:43 PM PSTI could not listen to what they said because of the huge ugly chairs they were sitting on, the high table that does with sitting as low as they did and also the strange surroundings. Almost all of the studios in Iran looks like spaceships.

when/if people like him lead a movement
by marhoum Kharmagas on Mon Feb 01, 2010 10:13 AM PSTWhen people like him (Mr. Dehnamaki) and not Rafsanjani, Mousavi, Karroubi, Mkhmalbaf, ...... lead a movement, then it is a movement worth following, and worth fighting for.
thanks ghormeh sabzi for posting this
You got to love some aspects of the Islamic Republic
by XerXes. on Mon Feb 01, 2010 09:55 AM PSTThere are so many channels that can lead to a complete democracy, and this is the proof. I really like the host, he is so kind and soft spoken.
