National hero Bagher Khan "was a lout and gambler"

During a pre-elections visit to Tabriz in June 2009, a cleric named Ahmad Rahdar, a student of Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi and faculty member of Imam Khomeini Institute, described Bagher Khan was a "lout and gambler" who does not deserve to be called a national hero:

is this all they could find on bagher khaan?  that he was a gambler.  and why was he a "laat" (lout)? is that because he was a gambler? this serves as a confirmation of bagher khaan as a hero.  even the rapist and murderous regime that has gone high and low to smear any non-religious figure and still can't find any more dirt on this guy.
