by Parvaneh A. Farid on Tue Jan 19, 2010 01:01 AM PSTI admire your courage and detachement, only women know how important our hair can be to us. This was very creative of you to put this whole thing on a video and share it with us. I watched your video looking so up to you Shadi joon. Bravo Shirzane irani!
What a lovely gesture of kindness!
by Multiple Personality Disorder on Mon Jan 18, 2010 08:59 AM PSTI loved the humor also when the scissor was not working. You are very kind, and your short hair looks great. Thank you for the information, but unfortunately I don't have much hair left.

Shadi for President!
by Milan on Mon Jan 18, 2010 05:59 AM PSTShadi khanom,
I admire your compassion and courage to part so gracefully with your beautiful Persian hair. On a different note, this gets me thinking about the idiotic idea of Hijab crap imposed on the beautiful Persian women back home. Well,...don't get me started.
Good move.
by پیام on Mon Jan 18, 2010 03:03 AM PSTThank you.

Every voice counts! Every action counts!
Thank you Shadi khanom and the Gentleman in the clip!
by farshadjon on Sun Jan 17, 2010 02:00 PM PSTEverybody thanked Shadi, but I want to thank Shadi as well as the Gentleman who finished the job!
An old idiom says:
“Kar ra keh kard, an keh tamam kard”
Nobody noticed what the Gentleman did in this video. As always, Iranian Gentlemen are contributing big time alongside Iranian ladies.

by hakimbob on Sun Jan 17, 2010 12:52 PM PSTNot only your idea was great to donate, but to put the whole thing on the web encourages others to do so. I also took pleasure in seeing the green bracelet of on your friend's wrist. Sabz va payandeh bashi!
Long live Shadi
by bahramthegreat on Sun Jan 17, 2010 12:51 PM PSTThere is no feeling better than giving for a good cause. I feel much lighter when I see some one else is happy. We all are proud of you.
BTW- I forgot to say, you look beautiful before and after.
Dear Shadi
by Nazy Kaviani on Sun Jan 17, 2010 12:32 PM PSTYou looked absolutely beautiful before, during, and after you cut your hair. I donated my hair last year. It felt good to feel useful. Our hair will grow out. In my heart, I have so much hope for the same thing for all the young people who have to receive chemotheraphy. I want to see their hair grow, along with their limbs and bones. Until then, I'm sure your hair will make one or two kids look beautiful, just as you are, inside and out.
Shadi jan: You are such a Love!
by Monda on Sun Jan 17, 2010 12:07 PM PSTI don't know what else to say about your positive attitude. when I was your age, Each time I cut my long hair, I moaned and bitched about doing it. Until few years ago when I found out about locksoflove. Many hugs and booses to your beautiful face and your assistant.
