Re: PTBA, Our turkish is full of persian. All you need 200
by obama on Sun Jul 04, 2010 06:29 PM PDTwords, and you can have a complete conversation about the daily events. I say that because of my own experience. Same goes for Kordish which is an iranian language, and i have lived there. Persian is part of melting pot iranian language. Technically, however, you're correct.
I remember in my teens when i bought meat in tabriz for my brother. When i gave the change to my sister-in-law, she was suprised how much they charged me. She sent me back using the tokish phrase such as AT NAGHADI. Good enough I got the torkish discount back!!
I really can see how one would love persian. I have many friends from neighboring countries think our persian is much sweeter than theirs!
Forough persia, you are greeting your apparent former teacher which is very lovely. Question for you: How does she know who you are when this is not the name that she would have known you for? thanks!
obama...
by P_T_B_A on Sun Jul 04, 2010 04:20 PM PDTI agree with what you said except torkish is not a dilect, it is a language.
"This language would never die..." Agree! When she is from Khoi
by obama on Sun Jul 04, 2010 02:40 PM PDTwhere they speak torkish, and she becomes an advocate of Persian as her own, how could this language die? She puts all those torkish separatists to shame! This is What Iranian is all about! Persian is our heritage regardless of what iranian dilect we speak, and we should do everything we can to preserve it! Step one stop using non persian words when speaking persian. And she has no accent!
God bless this patriotic Iranian woman who has put to shame all those arab lover mollahs to shame! You can see the love of Iran all over her! This is how the old generation and non-gharb zadeh people were like!

Dust Off the Book and Read It
by Ahura on Sun Jul 04, 2010 08:55 AM PDTHere is a link to a copy of Shaahnaameh online. For uninitiated Iranians may be “Daastaaneh Bizhan o Manizheh” could be a good start. Enjoy the beautiful tapestry and mural your countryman the Great Abolghassem Ferdowsi has created in Persian language.
