I don't think she was referring to the West as "icy', rather she was alluding to a subjective experience of being 'out in the cold' away from 'home'.

از زندگي  از اين همه تكرار  خسته ام از هاي و هوي  كوچه و بازارخسته ام

دلگيرم  از ستاره  و   آزرده ام  ز ماه امشب  دگر ز هر كه و هر كارخسته ام

دل خسته  سوي  خانه  تن خسته  مي كشم آوخ ...  كزين  حصار  دل آزار  خسته ام

بيزارم  از خموشي  تقويم  روي ميز وز  دنگ دنگ  ساعت  ديوار خسته ام

از او كه گفت  يار تو هستم   ولي  نبود از خود كه بي شكيبم  و  بي يار خسته ام

تنها و دل گرفته  و بيزار و بي اميد از حال من مپرس که بسیار خسته ام

So heartfelt and powerful

It is clear that for the most part she knows what she is talking about, I just wished she would avoid the cliche of referring to the "west" as a cold and icy place at the very beginning of her poem.

Dear "Ghormeh Sabzi", thanks for your post. "Hila Sedighi" is so talented. Her poetry is great, she is great looking and the way she recites her poetry is excellent.

What a contrast between her and the "fake" model...... Yet, the naked Silicon injected body, gets more remarks....

    LOL! This girl is light year better than Maryam Roshani!!!

That's it! I cannot tske it anymore! I am going to Iran!

She convinced me! She is just something else. bEAUTY, BRAIN, AND VATAN PARAST. How can I find this place when I go to Iran so I can attend one of her SHABEH SHER KHANI? IF SHE IS NOT AMRRIED, i AM GOING TO TELL MY BROTHER THAT HE HAS MY APPROVAL.

I have the utmost respect for the type of poems she recites, the content of her poems, and the melody of her voice. She knows how to strike the right chord with her poems!

May God give her lots of physical strength and intellectual power to carry on her work into the future!

And may God give her lots of healthy children whom she can bring up to serve the motherland in the future!

I love her voice

The way she recite the poem is so beautiful. She is absolutely an asset to the Iran and Iranians.

I have heard her before and she is original. That is rear in a country that the leaders and their gods are fake. I wish her the best and look forward to hear more of her poems.
