وی تصریح کرد: من با بند بند وجودم به نظام جمهوری اسلامی اعتقاد دارم و اگر نظام به خطر یا در معرض تهدید بیفتد با تمام وجود از آن دفاع می کنم، چون بحث انتقاد از عملکرد دولت و دفاع و باور داشتن به اصل نظام را جدا می دانم.

The main argument you are giving is that: Muhammad was right because Quoran said so.  Here is the problem with the logic: Muhammad dictated Quoran. And Quoran supports him. Now just for a minute lets assume that Quoran was the word of Muhammad and not God. See how the logic goes. Of course he would come up with a book that supports his actions! Have you ever heard that someone would condemn their own actions?  

History is filled with people who claimed to be representatives of God. How do we know they were really sent by God? How do you know they were not making it up. If people want to take something as word of God they better be sure of it. Otherwise they could be in for a real surprise when the really go to God. How would God react to people who followed a false prophet? I don't know but I rather not follow anyone. I prefer to make my own decisions based on my own beliefs. I do not kill or steal or go after other people's wife or cheat. I do this on my own not because I read it in some  holy book.

I have read the Quoran and found nothing divine in it. Instead there are all kinds of threats and things I don't believe God would say. I am not denying God. I am denying the claim that Quoran is the word of God. How do you prove Quoran is from God.

Well, I am madly in love with Muhammad, and i mean it when i say madly ... I don't want to explain why here, but that besides the point.  the point is we have differences of opinions and we should respect each others opinions.  one group should not force his opinions on others.  Since we both believe in that, and since we love our Iran, that makes us brothers no matter what.  there should be a government in iran that is by the people for the people, and the rights of minorities is preserved.  so, i am a soldier in the Army of free Iran and I should be free to hold any opinions, as long as i am not forcing it on other people.

• This man married a 6 year old and had sex with her when she was 9. --- my answer --- Quran established 9 years as an adult girl, so Muhammad didn't do anything agaist the Quran.
• Whenever he wanted something he would fake a Surah from God that
  would say he should get that thing --- my answer --- No he wouldn't, how do you know that?  you can't possibly know that.
• He married an older woman for money --- my answer --- all historical documents show that he was crazy about Khadijeh as he stayed with khadijeh till she passed away, Muhammad was 55 when his wife, mother of all muslims, passed away.  Muhammad was offered everything as far as wealth to give up his mission, but he refused, and you are saying he married older woman for money.
• He ran a group of bandits that robbed other Arabs--- my answer --- Elders of Makkah did not allow Muhaymmad to continue with his mission in Makkah, so they kicked him out of Makkah. they put Muhammad under sactions, then Muhammad took action that he did.
• He betrayed and murdered the Jewish clan of Banu Qurayza. Thanks for him there are no more Jews in
  Arabia.--- my answer --- here you are wrong ! Banu Qurayza betrayed him and yes he took a severse action against them.
• He elevated the Arab pagan Moon
  God to a position of The God.--- my answer --- Ok, here you lost me.  Quran is very clear on what we mean by Allah, Allah is the creator of the universe, God of ebraham, moses, jesus.
• He lowered the position of women
  to mere slaves.--- my answer --- they used to kill new born girls before he put a stop on it.  His daughter Fatima and His wives Khadijah and Ayesh were very involved their community.  
• He lived by the sword waging war
  on his neighbors.--- my answer --- Muhammad did not invade any other nation, it was the Khalifas Omar and Abubakr and Othman that made an empire.  and i have no opinion on Omar or Abubakr and Othman, Allah knows everything.
• His idea of debate was to killer
  the other person.--- my answer --- when in the history of mankind were debates used to settle things !!! debate has mostly to do with who is a better debater, not who is right. Ahmadinejad is a good debator but he is a lying pig.

By the way, Agha Muhammad khan, Reza shah, and Khomenie were all blood thirsty basterds.

I think he says more than that. He says the same thing about the constitutional revolution. He mentioned that after the constitutional revolution, the country was falling apart. Until after the coup by Reza Shah who took control of the army and quashed the rebellions by force. Zaiba-kalam is against any kind of social movement. He wants a strong central government that can put down any kind of rebellion. 

It seems to me the only thing that matters for Ziba-kalam is this entity called Iran with its borders and its territorial integrity. So when someone like Agha Muhamad Khan or Reza Shah comes along and uses force and intimidation, he becomes a "khaadem".

we all hate this regime and want democracy and free elections and freedom of speech and protection of minority rights.  for many of us, Muhammad is an inspiration and a revolutionary.  Muhammad never lied to people, but i understand that he was cruel at times but it was a very cruel world at that time, and he managed to unite all arabs into a unit.  his revolution had a philosophic, spiritual, military, operations, social service, all these aspects at one. yand i believe that he was inspired by his very soul to do things he did.  Muhammad's actions were the purist of actions, because he had gotten rid of all his selfishness.  we (muslims) should learn from his teaching how to live in this strange and cruel world.

In Khatamis time he stopped the basijis from harassing people, he stopped intelligence ministry that works for Ali yek dast to stop killing and exposed them so they were forced to kill Saied Emami, papers actually criticized him and when Ali yek dast run judiciary wanted to close them down he said that he did not approve the closing. Get a clue and stop with your nonsense.

IMO, this is mostly a debate between the official IRI narrative of modern Iranian history (prevalent in the state media) vs a more nationalistic and liberal interpretation of the same history.  According to Salimi-Namin, RS's "modernization" is characterized by foreign (British) domination and suppression of what he deems as true "Iranian identity" (and refers to Zibakalam as a supporter of British rule), while Zibakalam emphasizes RS's nationalism (and characterizes himself as "liberal to the core").

Ziba-Kalaam was given a fair bit of time to defend Reza Shah's services to Iran but he could have used his time more efficiently and avoided repetitions.  However, the sound quality was horrendous (to my experience), it was so low.  I greatly appreciated his point about not viewing history and personalities in simple-minded fanatical black and white and see things in their complexity.

No one is cutting anyone here. This debate started the day before the video above, That day, Zibaakalam was on the phone and salimi namin was present in the studio. The following day , it became the opposite.  Zibaakalaam talked more than the other participants and was given plenty of time to explain his views.

Enjoy these relative freedoms while it lasts. When Rafsanjani & Co are back to their business in 3 years, then you realize what you thought was green as a toad, is actually grey like a wolf.
