Her reasons for why Iranians are "mostly Democrats" have to be among the dumbest things I have ever heard... Iranians like her make the rest of us look bad... I am a liberal, but if an Iranian conservative would be able to come with intelligent and reasonable arguments, I would give them credit.. This chick though, wow.. talk about lack of intelligence to the core!!!

this is an insult to the community. Since she is educated, I have to assume it is deliberate, rather than a point of ignorance.

In fact Iranian Americans have been historically Republican right up until George Bush ruined the party. Bush carried both Iranian and Arab American vote in 2000.

If they show greater tendency toward Democrats since the late 90's that's only because Republican party has been taken over by small minded, ignorant, racist war mongers. But even now, there is significant Republican support among the older population.

This video makes Iranian sound like unsophisticated idiots who act based on stupid misinformation. I'm not surprised, that's exactly the kind of people the Republican party best caters to these days.

I don't know how to tell you this, but I did not become a Democrat by accident or through ignorance of what being a Democrat meant.  While I respect your choice of political party and thinking, I wish that you would do the same for me, and that you would stop stereotyping Iranians and Iranian Democrats as people who just got off the boat and who don't know what's what and who's who.  It was a bit embarrassing to watch this clip, to tell you the truth.  You would do well to talk about yourself and not other Iranians.  Thank you.
