I thoght that was an excellent analysis and interview

He was right on the mark on all issues, specially the affect of hawkish (sanction or talk of war) attitude towards Iran and how it would only strengthen AN regime.

Thousands of Italians Mark the End of Fascism by Expressing Solidarity with Iran's Green Movement

Tens of thousands of Italians marked 25th April, the anniversary of the end of Mussolini by wearing Green T-Shirts with maps of Iran printed on them and expressed their solidarity with the people of Iran who seek freedom and justice against the tyranny of Ahmadinejad's messianic military junta. Excellent. Brezinski

A Very Well-Put-Together Analysis :)

by R2-D2 on

I do appreciate the fact that Jahanshah features such informative blogs as this :)

There are two (2) things that are quite clear:

First, the present regime in Iran has absolutely No Legitimacy;

Second, the only alternative left for our beloved Brothers and Sisters in Iran is a Secular Democracy :)

If you look around the World, the only truly Advanced Nations are those with Secular Democracy ie. Western Europe, and U.S.

Let's Not Try And Re-Invent The Wheel - A Secular Democracy, such as a Parliamentary System, Would Perhaps Be The Best System For Our Beloved Iran To Replace This Autocratic, Backward,  And Islamic Regime :)

Thank You For This Very Useful Blog,

R D

I thing everything is more

by benross on

I think everything is more clear and better established at international level. This will give opposition the proper environment to regroup, not being distracted about issues such as war, bomb, crippling sanction and so on. They were non issues to begin with. But it didn't stop worms to distract the opposition... not anymore.
