Photographing A Revolution

TIME Magazine's David Burnett

Iran's momentous revolution in 1979 changed Iran and also altered the dynamics of the Middle East and Iran-U.S. relations. One of the worlds best working photojournalists, David Burnett, was witness to the startling events and had the opportunity to document those tumultuous times through the lens of a camera. AAM's Javier Barrera talks to renowned photojournalist David Burnett on his extraordinary photographs that have been compiled in a new book called, 44 Days: Iran and the Remaking of the World.
