by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sun Nov 07, 2010 06:49 AM PSTThe hostage crisis was definitely used by Reagan. I am not sure if he planned it. But he did use it. If Carter had any backbone he would not have let it happen. But JC trusted all the wrong people and still refuses to admit his mistakes.
IMHO: these treaties are just ways to exploit Iran. They are enforced when it hurts us. When it helps us they are "renegotiated". Just as treaties with Native Americans. Both Khomeini and Carter were tools. Never knew what was going on.
In time both Islam and West will be kicked out of Iranian regions.

He's Totally Wrong
by ayatoilet1 on Sun Nov 07, 2010 05:37 AM PSTThe Capitulation law was a law enacted during the turkmenchay agreement between Iran and Russia (to protect russians) after the Russian-Persian Wars in mid 19th century. This is the same treaty that by the way gave 50% of the Caspian Sea to Iran. It had nothing to do with the U.S.A. By the way, his regime have handed over 188,000 sq km of Iranian teritory to the West and Soviet Oil companies for exploitation - that is trillions of dollars of assets and given up more Iranian territory than any prior government in Iran's history.
And the Embassy Hostage situation as we all know, was the pretext for republican take over of the executive branch (ronald reagan's secret dealings behind Jimmy Carter's back with the Mullah's, with George Bush Senior's secret trip to Paris on October 11th 1980, where they finalized the deal to hold the hostages in exchange for security assurances by the U.S.); and the hostages were duly released within minutes of Reagan's inauguration.
This whole speech is total bullshit. He is misleading the Public. HE IS A PAWN...an Ayatoilet. He is a liar and a traitor.
Hmm ... Trita Parsi & Houman Majd Do you Still Beg to Differ ?

We should
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sun Nov 07, 2010 04:23 AM PSTOnce a sane government is restored to Iran we should put Khamenei; AN and the rest of criminals in a permanent jail. Despicable Islamic trash. He calls that bravery: taking hostages and stamping their feet like little spoiled brats.
These idiots cost Iran 9 billion; and international respect. Thanks to Ebtekar and her vile kind. More proof that no people are as vile as the Islamists.
Maybe USA will be nice enough to let us throw them in GITMO.
Let "brave students" and their Islamic masters dig ditches and holes and work for a change. Or sell their body parts like they are making Iranian people fored to. The only thing is they have no hearts so don't bother selling that part. Their souls in hell already.
On one hand ahmadinezhad sucks up to US for mercy...
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Sun Nov 07, 2010 03:53 AM PSThoping for his "Eye_ranian/American" fan club in US to convince american government that the nasty Joooooos are the enemy , not friendly shia terrorists of islamist regime of Iran, and on the other hand we have the opium head "rahbar" khamenei screwing the whole damn plot with his occasional crazy outbursts!
The comical, not so funny show of "revolutionary political islam" goes on!
