Jimmy Carter
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Nov 01, 2010 12:04 PM PDTis the worst president of the USA in recent history. That incompetent cost Iran 31 years of sanity. He cost the world stability and created the Taliban. If I were him I would shut up and live in shame.
But the shameless filth goes around stinking up the world with his vile presence.
How many times?
by ghalam-doon on Mon Nov 01, 2010 08:57 AM PDTIt's very appropriate to post this video around Halloween!
I agree with Sargord, even though I did not see his post here. Let the guy die in peace. Do not try to resurrect him every two weeks or so just to say how great he was etc. Well, he wasn't. Just look at his face. He REALLY believes in this B.S. coming out of Carter's mouth. This is the same delusional mentality that rules Iran today. Khamenei might suffer from the same disease when he sees thousands of people cheering him. He might try to delude himself into thinking "they REALLY love me."
Venezuela's Chavez said similar stuff about islamist regime!
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Mon Nov 01, 2010 04:51 AM PDTLooking forward to seeing elderly islamist regime supporters exiled in venezuela, demosntrating against chavez at his caracas book signing session in 30 something years time!

by Fair on Sun Oct 31, 2010 02:31 PM PDTYou are very kind, I have much respect for you also, for the very same reasons. We Iranians will find our own way, no good will come from foreign intervention. All we want from foreign governments is moral support and to not sell us out, and make our human rights the centerpiece of any Iran policy.
You are absolutely right that good things are not cheap, we Iranians have paid a big price but have come a long way culturally, and are not about to stop. The cat is out of the bag, and there is no putting it back in. And it is a Persian cat too:)

Dear Fair,
by Bavafa on Sun Oct 31, 2010 09:57 AM PDTI agree that price will be high, but often times good things won't come cheap or free. Likewise, I sincerely hope that we learn from our mistakes and take the proper care and effort to ensure our young blood won't go in vain, when they topple this criminal regime.

P.S. You are a person that I respect very much on IC, not only for your sacrifices to defend our home land during Iraq invasion, but also for your continued effort and wisdom to oppose IRI without falling into trap of "let Americans bomb Iran to free it for us" mentality

by Fair on Sun Oct 31, 2010 09:23 AM PDTI agree with you on all counts, if his emphasis on these changes were seen over a longer period of time in more powerful capitols of the world, things would have been much different. Our people indeed are responsible as you say, but I am very hopeful because now we have experience that is very expensive and not teachable in any classroom. We see that in our youth today, they are very vigilant and enlightened, and I am confident the next time around will be much more positive in direction. Unfortunately, we are going to pay a big price in the process, because of the unprecedented violence and sheer terror inherent in this regime.
He was a courageous man
by Bavafa on Sun Oct 31, 2010 09:07 AM PDTHe was a courageous man for demanding and pushing for a more open society, more political freedom and less torture in Iran. I wish we had an administration in the US with enough courage that would demand the same from the criminal IRI.
The fact is that we (Iranian people) are responsible for blowing the opportunity we had in 79 and after. We allowed thugs/criminals and backward religious retards to rule over us and hijack the movement. Lets hope we will be more vigilant on the next one.
