by Ehsan karimi on Sat Sep 18, 2010 03:24 PM PDTBy good prophets I was referring to real prophets. I figured some cults will come in and try to argue their leaders as prophet like Baha'Is. I am a few steps ahead of you.
Insult is when west comes to the negotiating table and starts dictating and making foolish requests. Yes sir no sir is not respect. coming to the table with mutually beneficial terms is respect. That is how they insult his intelligence. the same goes to the oppositions. RP advising Ahmadinejad is laughable. Musavi speaking of right and wrong while backed by Rafsanjani and his gang and west and Israel is clearly an insult not just to Ahmadinejad but to any intelligent Iranian.
Judging from his actions, I say yes, he is doing what is in best interest of Iran and Iranians. Is it in the interest of traitors of Iran, corrupt individuals and the enemies? Of course not. It all depends on which camp you belong to.
Had he the power to bring freedom and human rights, I believe he would have. There are too many major obstacles for Ahmadinejad. One is the IRGC , the justice system, then other clerics and groups that are playing their own songs. Under such conditions no president can do much. In fact, Ahmadinejad has been very smart in dealing with every group. What does the crackdown has to do with Ahmadinejad? It was Khamenei who ordered it, but Ahmadinejad is being blamed for it. What has any possible rigging got to do with him. If anything, it was khamenei who ordered it and that isn't even proven. Ahmadinejad believes he has been elected by majority and it is his duty to serve the public the best possible way he can and he is trying to do so.
Mardom Mazloom,
by No Fear on Sat Sep 18, 2010 12:30 PM PDTThere is no hiding in the fact that Mortazavi is a judge who hands down tough sentences with no mercy. Consider this, Mortazavi's most important feature.
For your information, Judges are not appointed by the president and they are chosen by the head of judiciary who himself is directly chosen by the supreme leader. So, what happened in Kahrizak can not be Ahmadinejad's fault. Since Khamenie ordered a special investigation in the matter, it is highly possible that Mortazavi went rogue by himself.
Such a merciless judge would be best serving the country when dealing with drug dealers, wouldn't you say so?
However, now he is a suspect after the investigation and must stand trial for his role in the Kahrizak incident. I don't think currently he holds any position in IR.

by Demo on Sat Sep 18, 2010 11:01 AM PDTDid you read yourself what you wrote???? "willing to take the advices of good Kings and good prophets to benefit Iran and Iranians." Could you name a bad prophet?? Did not all the prophets come to deliver the messages of "truth" & nothing but the "truth?" Your "no fear" master has already had 6 years to heed. He instead has been taking advices from some "unknown" sources. "That is if the non criminal part of the opposition are willing to work with him, but don't insult his intelligence as west has tried to do." And who is going to decide what "non criminal" & who "opposition" are?? Are he himself & all others around & on the top of him "crime free?" One brings all the "insults" to his/her "intelligence" upon opening of his/her mouth too much!!!!
No Fear
by Ehsan karimi on Sat Sep 18, 2010 10:55 AM PDTYou are 100% correct..
Unfortunately until now, Ahmadinejad has been taking the fall for every one's mistakes. people cannot be force to support him. He should do the right things and that will automatically turn into support. I know it is much easier said than done, but as difficult as it will be, that is the best way. I am willing to bet that like many others he had never read Koorosh's ideas on human rights till now. He seems to be exited and energized by it. He seems to be well balanced and willing to take the advices of good Kings and good prophets to benefit Iran and Iranians. He should start teaching them at schools. That is how a nation can transform. It is not too late.
I wrote a long time ago, that he is a man of reasoning and logic. That is if the non criminal part of the opposition are willing to work with him, but don't insult his intelligence as west has tried to do.
NO FEAR??? FOR REAL???
by Demo on Sat Sep 18, 2010 07:13 AM PDTYour comments are always as “preposterous” as “the fingering idol man” in your avatar. His words/actions are of neither a “pure” Iranian or of a “true” believer. He is rather a master of deceptions, lies, color change, & of multiple personalities. He & his “pro-Khomeini” gangs must not ever go to sleep for killing of even a single “innocent” person during past 31 years rather than continue deceiving people with their “Cylindrical” shows.
PS: Pure And True Iranians (PATI) always remain PATI either abroad or inroad!!!!

Have to admit that this 'AN thing' is very deceptive
by Mardom Mazloom on Sat Sep 18, 2010 05:54 AM PDTFrom the beginning A.N. was against Iran and had anti-iranian positions. Just for an example, after the June coup (which is now officially admitted by Sepah), when Mortazavi was recognized as the principle criminal in the Kahrizak fiasco, A.N. saved him - from being judged for the crimes he committed against Iranians - by appointing him to an important post.
I don’t know what is wrong with A.N.-lovers living abroad? They simply have to admit the reality: that AN is a deceptive thing.

Did Koroush really say all that?
by ghalam-doon on Sat Sep 18, 2010 03:44 AM PDTI doubt it.
Anyway, this guy is something else. One day he wants to hasten the coming of Imam-e-zaman. Next day he starts talking about Koroush and his achievements.
But other commentators here are correct. Lets say Koroush said all that. Lets say Koroush was for human rights etc. Is that what's happening in Iran today? For example, can people express their opinion freely?
The Shah used to celebrate Koroush and in his sick mind linked himself to his dynasty. He talked about this manshoor with pride. At the same time, his brutal regime led to a revolt that has forced upon us a theocratic regime. Ahmadinejad and the Shah can talk about Koroush and his legacy until they are blue in the face. But what really matters is what is happening in Iran, today, right now.
Damn ...
by No Fear on Sat Sep 18, 2010 02:19 AM PDTWhat the hell is wrong with Iranians abroad?
You couldn't even name a persian king with respect, not while ago, and now when someone is genuinely defending one of the greatest persian kings on national TV, he is labeled "deceptive"??
Do you agree with what he is saying? If yes, support his cause.
Hasn't he reduced religious elite from (atleast ) the administration?
For anyone who follows Iran internal politics, Ahmadinejad's nationalistic credentials was never under question. Only those who got it wrong from the begining, are left scratching their heads, or accusing him for being this or that.
I am afraid in the next election, eventually you guys will get what you really deserve.

by Ehsan karimi on Fri Sep 17, 2010 09:20 PM PDTActually, just about everything he read was the opposite of what is happening in Iran. Ahmadinejad seems to agree with Koorosh. Now all he should do is to implement them. There is the constitution. "Aab dar koozeh o ma dooreh jahan migardeem".
However, he was right about Ghajar and Pahlavi. What Koorosh and any other good Iranian King had done is no credit to Ghajar and Pahlavi. Every king and person is responsible for his/her actions and Velayateh Faghih and presidents are not exempt.

Just like every other political figure -- Shah and Shahollahi's specially -- he's using history for his own benefit, but I have to admit, his view is much more balanced than the typical view of Cyrus and will probably not sit well with Muslim fundementalists.
