Good for her to be married to a jew, it shows that she had enough common sense not to marry a Muslim, she married up.

But I have objection to her giving this dirty murderer air time, he need to be arrested and put on trial for crimes he committed against Iranian people. She should have shown the picture of some of the kids that were subjected to the torture and rapes committed in Ahmadinejad's jails.

Khanum Amanpour daashteem??

We know your name is Christian and you're married to a jew, but your roots are in Iran. So, it wouldn't hurt to show a little respect to those millions of Iranians who (rightly or wrongly) voted for him, by being less provocative in your dress code and general composure. Even those American women you showed on your laptop report were dressed more decently than you. Poor man had difficulty maintaining eye contact with you.

For a woman who is (was?) married to someone who for some 8 years worked closely with Clinton administration, and hence should be VERY familiar with international protocoles,you were particularly rude and aggressive towards a president of a country (any country) and you should hang your head in shame! In his place I would've refused to continue participating in the mascarade of an interview you put on.

But then again, it's me!

Deflated ego

Mehraban jon: I actually don't think he was confident at all. He didn't have his usual swagger about him. His facial expressions and body language told a story of a  tired and  deflated ego; basically a defeated man  ready to appease his opponents.

Hopefully, the sanctions and khamenie's wrath have  taught him a lesson in humility. But I doubt that very much. I don't think sociopaths are capable of reaching that stage of maturity.

But the more important interview of the day in my opinion was the one with Hillary before this one.  She was so painstakingly careful about how she phrased her sentences and her choice of words about Iran that made me ask myself why is she being so cautious?  

She was also deferential towards the religious authorities in Iran "responsible civil and religious leaders to, take hold of the apparatus of the state."   I hope she was just being a good (?) diplomat.

Ahmadinejad said, Of course, we take them seriously, they are in violation of international laws and are crimes against our nation.
