I wonder if there has been any scientific research done on the neurological, mental and behavioral implications of foreskin removal. To think of it, circumcision is a major traumatic event at any age, does it cause a permanent mental mark and scar as well?

Did your grandma say which one should have the crown with the tea and lemon? I personally think that putting it in the mix for the Kabab Koobideh is a better way of feeding it to the lucky couple.

Pure stupidity

روزی که ما را ختنه کردند

هنوز آن روزِ نِکبتی را ما فراموش نکرده ایم ! تنها نبودیم و چند پسرک دیگر هم بودند و همه را به باغ آورده بودند تا آن دکتر هندی،یکی‌ پس از دیگری ختنه کند والله که کَان قاسیْا جداً.

هر کدام که از اتاق پیش درْ صندوق خانه به تو میرفت،بعد از چند دقیقه..گریان و نالان،در دست فراش و یا عزیزَش به بیرون میامد به غیر از منصور پسر خاله بیچاره‌ام که تیغ را دیده و بد بخت.. غش کرده بود و آن مردک در بیهوشی ایشان را کارْ انجام داده بود که غیر مقبول بود.

نوبت ما که شد،دایه جان و مادر جانمان آرام قضیه را به ما توضیح دادند که ما با اینکه بسیار با هوش و هوشیار بودیم،قضیه را درک نکردیم،مردک هندی پر ریش و با دستانی مَعروق به کنار ما نشست و لبخندی کریه زد و با لهجه یی خاص ما را به آرامش دعوت کرد و بعد دیگر چیزی به خاطر نداریم . . .

چشم که باز کردیم،در حیاط پیشخوان مینا کاری شده بودیم، دور و ور غیه میکشیدند و دیدیم که لُنگ قرمز رنگ با تاجِ شاه شهید به تن داریم... سکه‌های طلا و نقره به دور سرمان چرخانیدند و اخوندَکی بود در آن نزدیک که با صدای کریهَش قرآن میخواند و دیگری بود که ساز و ضرب به میان میاورد آهنگ‌های روحوضی میخواندند و آن طرف بزرگان دیگر بودند که قربان صدقه ما می‌رفتند و چقدر احساس شادی میکردیم و غافل از اینکه عجب بلایی به سرمان آورده بودند و ما بیز چوک بَسیط و ایدی بُونو بیلمُیردُو...

آن مرد هندی هم بی‌ نصیب از قضیه نماند، به هر جای باغ که با میگذاشت،خلایق برای چاپلوسی و دیگر خوش شیرین کنی‌ ها..مژدگانی به ایشان میدادند که نبیره نتیجه فلان شازده را ختنه کرده و گوشت آنرا در فنجانی طلا کار شده روسْ ساز نگاه داشته است.

تا چند روز در عمارت بستری و همین جور شاد بودیم اما درد هم داشتیم.

ما هم با حضرت آقای جاوید موافق هستیم و با این عمل مخالفت خود را اعلام میداریم.

باشد تا خداوند جواب نیکوکاران را دهد و جزای بد کاران را بیشتر.

While you're at it

As you circumcise your son to prevent "diseases", don't forget to also remove your daughter's breasts, uterus and ovaries. I guarantee you the percentage of women developing breast, uterine or ovarian cancer is a lot greater than uncircumcised men getting AIDS or other diseases.

I was circumcised when I was 6 yrs old. I do not have any problems with that. It is also a fact that foreskin makes it difficult to keep the penis clean. foreskin had a use when we ran around naked in the woods but when wearing clothes i do not see a point of it. Also according to studies done in Africa people circumcised have 70% less chance of getting aids.

This is CHILD ABUSE

and the idiot uncle says, the kid was circumcised because he did not listen to his dad.

Don’t know why the parents waited so long to do this, at 6 or 7 years of age this could be a very traumatic experience!

Now days when you are born at the hospital they usually ask you if you would want the child circumcised before they send you home, it was the same in the 1960’s, if it’s done when you are an infant at least you will have no memory of this traumatic event!

It's barberic

painfull and it's unnecssary. It remove thousend of nerves in that area which down the road could lead to impotence, ed, you name it. Furthermore this is a Jewish traditon which was copied bythe islamists! so for a group that hates jews (aka zionists as they call them now!) it's so ironic  that they copy this act and ignore just about anythign else.

asadabad, half the population, nearly 40 million living Iranian males have gone through this at some stage in childhood. And millions more since the arrival of Islam and probably before that as well.

The pain is no less whether you are a day old, a year old or 10 years old. The pain is not even the point. Any operation is painful. Look beyond the pain.

Circumcision is not a matter of life or death. Uncircumcised boys become men and reproduce just fine. My favorite examples are India and China. Seems like more than half of the world's population in those two countries alone have no problem with an intact penis.

So if almost all Iranians today are insisting on it, it's only because of religious and family traditions. And also for cosmetic reasons. It kills me that women consent to this barbarity against their own boys partly because an circumcised penis looks less scary. How scary is that?

what great parents he has

first they wait until he is 6-9 years old to perform circumcision then they broadcast the anguish to the whole world...

Yeah, he'll heal and forget all about it in a week. But medical science says it is NOT necessary. It could help hygiene and prevent some diseases. But the risk is so small and preventable that it should not justify mutilation and loss of a great deal of sensation.

Don't be cruel. Stop it already!
