A James Bond movie without James Bond
by Quebeqi on Thu Sep 02, 2010 05:32 PM PDTI was amazed how so many James Bond clichés were used such as the Gieger watch (Thunderball), the bad guy's yatch (Thunderball again) and the wresling girls (From Russia With Love). And did I see Goldfinger's Odd Job in this movie? Too bad he did not use his famous boiler hat. However the dialog was not so good and most of the film would had been boring if there were not the Iranian part which was filled with action. And Tehran looked so modern et so stylish, pretty much like the set of a Madmen episode. I hope a remake of that movie will be done somedays...with Toutou the Poodle, of course. :)
