It is about time we talked about the Left in Iran without cloak and dagger.

Oh they can keep the cloak and dagger. That was the fun part of it. But they won't be left. Period.

I got an idea! How about we transfer the rest of Islamists like AN and Khamenei to London too? And why wait to die? Transfer them right now :-) Save Iran and give them a nice home.

to find your "Feudal" right there. If you have read it before, read it again, seems you've forgotten it.

To find "serfs" look no further than Mazadak up to Babieh.

As for proletariate recall the Oil Strike of 1979, and all the May First rallies in Iranian cities for the past five years, all celebrations done under conditions of extreme repression and consequences:you also might want to check on bus drivers, sugar cane workers,....

To find the "Right" wing, perhaps a look in the mirror should do.

I leave the "Left" to your imagination.

So, you see we have, and have had all the elements in Iran. Very few have been able to put it together and make sense of it all.

Dear GS - thanx fot the great thread - This guy Rezaii is the epidemy of clueless leftists in Iran.   I loved what mr. Atabaki said about how in 1357 our left totally abandoned fundamental values of what is supposed to be LEFT.

Come to think of it, actually all English Marxist Historians(way too many to name in here) are just an amazing amalgam of Historians.
