Masoud Shajareh

Chairman of Islamic Human Rights Commission in London

Iranian Qods Day organizer knows all about Zionist oppression; knows nothing about IRI oppression:

without a doubt, anyone who defends the scumbag in this video or doubts that there are human rights violations in iran is also a s.o.b.

by Reality-Bites on

Lets get this straight, although no one knows exactly how many Iranians have been murdered at the hands of the IRI over the past 30 years, because IRI does its utmost to keep its crimes secret and hidden away, it is likely to be far more than the number of ordinary Palestinians deliberately murdered by Israel in the same period.

Furthermore, unlike the fact that many Israelis have also been killed by Palestinians, hardly any IRI officials have suffered this fate the at the hands of ordinary Iranians, who have endured IRI's systematic persecution and reign of terror.

If anything, IRI's actions are more contemptible Israel's, since Israel at least treats its own people decently and its misdeeds (which undoubtedly deserve condemnation) have been committed in a war/conflict situation against an external enemy (i.e. the Palestinian extremists, who are also not exactly blameless themselves), not against its own citizens. The IRI intimidates, threatens, harasses, robs, imprisons, tortures and even murders its own citizens, simply for asking for freedom, democracy, Human Rights or even for simply having different beliefs.

And there is nothing unfounded about these appalling acts committed by the vile regime you are defending here.

Mr. Shajareh is right

by asadabad on

He should not comment on unfounded claims.

How dare the interviewer compare Iran to Israel.  Have there been 120+ UN Resolutions condemning the IRI for its human rights records (I am counting the UN resolutions vetoed by US) or an "Iranian Goldstone Report" that documents IRI human rights abuses from the 2009 election aftermath?   I don't think so!  He should keep quiet.

that is a good regime loyalist.  be a liar and hypocrit.  just like khomenei, khamenei, rafsanjani, and ahmadi.

and obama thought he could get somewhere negotiating with these liars who say a nuclear bomb is against their religion.

Real hypocrit

by mehdi1616 on

Someone who does not recognise his own people's Suffering should be exposed.

MR Masoud Shajareh  used to live in Cambridge  by the name "SASHA" and had a history in this town.

why not have some sort of fairness. you applauded and defended the hezbollah thugs who cornered F. Rafsanjani, now you are crying over this guy. Or I guess it's ok when the victom is a woman?

He has no shame

He doesn't have any answer and he is just flat denying it. What a hypocrit just like the rest of IRI.

In my opinion, the interviewer did an excellent job in exposing the hypocrisy of this guy, and shaming him.

they can talk

by pas-e-pardeh on

But these days they can't hide.

I think international pressure is, or will be, getting to them.  They are not welcome to spew their BS outside Iran anymore.

Speaking of standing up to BS, we are planning a massive rally to oppose Mahmoud AN's visit to NT later this month.  Please join:

He trained to be indifferent.

by Sahameddin Ghiassi on

That is a good example of the people who are trained to be like a robot.  They cannot listen and cannot act properly and accordingly. They think just about their own benefits.

Benyamin, one correction

by Reality-Bites on

The guy did answer, and his answer was "I don't know what you are talking about", before walking away with a smirk on his face, when the reporter asked him about the treatment of the peaceful demonstrators in Iran.

So either this "Chairman of Islamic Human Rights Commission in London" has been away on Mars for the past few years (maybe he was he was the Chairman of Islamic HRC there too) or he was not being, shall we say, entirely truthful in his answer.

Character assassination?

by Benyamin on

I don`t know about that nor have any idea how this is a case of stalking?

But I know people identify themselves through their interests, hobbies. jobs or affiliation.

This guy is clearly a supporter of Palestine and up to that moment that is how he should have been judged, but the way he answered the question made it clear that he is indeed connected to the IRI.

he could be a good guy with some affiliations to the IRI and he could be a bad guy with some affiliations to the IRI at any rate he can look away from truth and obvious question by which his action makes him a fair target for "character assassination"

If one can see the pain and suffering of Palestinian people(which is fair), then one should see all suffering and pain which human indure across the globe. if you pick and choose the suffereing then you are  motivated by other means and that makes one "less" sincere and truthful as a result that person`s character is "questionable".

We all saw in this clip this guy is questionable. But he just didn`t answer.

Anon: reading, analyzing and revealing is not "stalking." Those "Fred" users posts are uploaded for public attention. So to accuse one of stalking such an effort is contrary to the definition of the word.

May I suggest you return to "English as a second language" instruction, for a refresher course or two.

is pursuing a user on this site on a disturbingly stalker-ish, paranoid type way.  He is so clinically obsessed with this guy that he has dreamed up all kinds of fantasies about him.  Here, take a look at a couple of samples:

actually, the paranoia and obsession would be funny if it wasn't so sad and weird.   Why is it that all IRI supporters are such shameless hypocrites?

what a douche bag!

He reminds me of every single IRI groupie that I have had the

misfortune of encountering on this site.  Beating his chest for Palestine and ignoring the plight of the Iranian people.  How typical. It looks like they all go through the same training program at the Ministry of Intelligence.

Another example of IRI shameless hypocrisy

by Reality-Bites on

This sorry excuse for a human being is out on the streets screaming his head off for the rights of Palestinians, but when confronted with questions about the rights of Iranians, he doesn't want to know. What a surprise.

Typical IRI supporters' warped mentality clearly on display for all to see.

Islamic Teachings

What could be expected from these lost souls?  All their lives they have been subjected to the one sided, erroroneous, murder filled teachings of the Quran and Islam.  He has no other point of reffernce.  They aee fault in eveyting and every one else but themselves.

say no to character assassinations!

by Shirin Saeidi on

It’s unfortunate that this form of character assassination is allowed on this otherwise useful site. Sadly, going after people on an individual and private basis has become all to come for our elite and non-elite communities. To be honest, I find it to be slightly psychotic behaviour.

Does it even matter what the truth is anymore for us as Iranians in the Diaspora? It seems that all we care about is an “othering” of one another.
