A statement issued after a meeting of foreign ministers rejected Iran's "continuing interference" in the internal affairs of the six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). "The (foreign affairs ministers meeting) severely condemned Iranian interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain which is in violation of international pacts," the statement said. I'd like to see him lead a battalion of Pasdaran into Bahrain for their "liberation".  The truth is, he is too cowardly to pick a fight with measly Saudi Arabia.

As long as we sit on our assess watching this SOB write prescription for other nations and at the same time suppress his own people, we will witness this kind of hypocrisy.

These Bahraini Shia would still be better off living under Sunni hegemony than going independent or accepting Iranian tutelage.  This is the way kingdoms work.  I like the GCC honesty.  They call themselves kings, princes, dictators in perptuity etc.  They don't try to sugarcoat anything by calling themselves "supreme leaders" or "representatives of God" or "presidents".

Why would you find any of those situations outrageous, seeing as they are the kinds of things one would expect from the protagonists involved?

Bavafa

I wonder what is more outrageous...

by Bavafa on

Sending and importing foreign troops to kill peaceful demonstrators in another nation

Or…

For IRI to condemn others what they do routingly on the streets of Tehran or other Iranian cities

Or…

The American hypocrisy in their selective support for freedom and democracy in middle east
