Mr Khooshkhiyal, or Mr Makhmal Baaf kononi regime .

by Marathon-Man on

What he is trying so hard to prove is that you still can do your job under the IRI which means there is ENOUGH freedome to express yourself the way you want.

The bitter reality is that IRI has no respect for Art , music or anything that somehow is out of Islamic frame.

Mohsen Makhmalbaaf, who got the nickname MOHMALBAF was as optimistic as MR Hatamikia and you know what he ended up with.

Soon or late Mr Hatamikia will be making his moives outside Iran.

I'll bet on it confidently.

Very inspring interview. I wish him good luck, he is a vey good producer, he makes very good films ( almost documentry). With people like him ( who are many in Iran), we will succeed and the government will wake up.

Hatamikia haal daad

I've seen one or two of his films. And I know nothing else about him. But after seeing this interview, I have great respect for Hatamikia.

He said what's on his mind, even when he knows it's going to cost him and his career dearly, the same as many other directors, actors, ...

damesh garm for his honesty and courage.

"Gozaresh-e yek Jashan" is now a Must See.
