enlightening and somewhat surprising
by Princess on Mon Apr 25, 2011 10:57 AM PDTThanks for sharing this, Ghorme Sabzi jaan. I thought the disucssion very enlightening. However, I'd have to admit that I found the concluding remarks (as convincing as they sounded) rather surprising. I would have never dreamt of associating torture (violence) with our culture they way it was put in the end.
My heart goes out to all victims of torture; the damage is so permanent despite all efforts on the side of the victims to move on and try to have a "normal" life.
