Others must join
by divaneh on Mon Dec 26, 2011 04:35 PM PSTWell done Secular Greens. Other parties and opposition groups must join the campaign and form a united front. Let's see how much courage and wisdom we can see from the rest.
Hope he is not assassinated
by vildemose on Mon Dec 26, 2011 02:38 PM PSTHope he is not assassinated by the regime's goons.
“It’s not enough that faith claims to be the solution to all problems,” he wrote in Slate in 2009 after a Danish newspaper apologised for publishing cartoons of the prophet Muhammad. “It is now demanded that such a preposterous claim be made immune from a
Gutsy move by all groups, well done Iranians.

While the US govt says all the right things, like khomeini, their actions prove otherwise. We must all focus on Human Rights & Secular Democracy (with separation of church and state, not just democracy run under sharia) otherwise the USA will focus on one group of mullahs to replace the current ones, like it did in 2009. Since the West won't bring these guys to Intl Criminal Court, it is Iranians duty to do it, however dangerous it is in terms of putting all united Iranian opposition groups on a clashing path to the west, if we stay united on this one we might have a positive impact on the actions of the west/USA.
Time to unite
by religionoutofgovernment on Mon Dec 26, 2011 08:47 AM PSTThis is an action that should get the backing of all secular and democratic persons and groups.
Those with agenda of a certain ideology, inconsistent with democracy, will naturally remain in their own ideologically bankrupt seclusion.
No time to be cynical; get moving !
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Dec 26, 2011 08:37 AM PSTDear HTG: I know you are a good person and have good intentions. But we are in a mess and don't have time to be cynical right now and need to move. if we don't there may be war.
To prevent war and a mess IRI should go and the sooner the better. I applaud RP for getting off his b** and taking real action. What is so bad about bringing IRI to justice? So RP is asking for it; does that make it wrong?
The process is about the criminal not the plaintiff. Besides all Iranians are victims; RP just happens to be the plaintiff. You do not have to like RP to support prosecuting Khamenei and his goons. Plus supporting the process does not mean endorsing RP.
A call/an action long over due....
by Bavafa on Mon Dec 26, 2011 08:22 AM PSTThough, I would think the technicality of it would be really hard, considering some other leaders committing genocide/war crimes are still roaming free
