BBC: The US Navy has said it will not tolerate disruption to a vital oil-trade route, following an Iranian threat to close it. Iran warned it would shut the Strait of Hormuz if the West imposed more sanctions over its nuclear programme. The US and its allies believe Iran is trying to develop a nuclear weapon - a charge Tehran denies. Reacting to Iran's warning, a US Fifth Fleet spokeswoman said it was "always ready to counter malevolent actions" >>>

by Bahram G on Wed Dec 28, 2011 08:32 PM PSTI am not a military expert. I am simply an arm-chair analyst :-) and not too proud not to admit that. My statement about how readily the fifth fleet can un-block the strai is based on hearing some authoritative US person opine on tv. Now, he may be right, or you may be correct. In any event, the reshoos are playing with fire and my fear is that the lower ranks and the Iranian civilians may end up paying the price for these belligerents. Not a good idea to pick a fight. A terrible idea to pick a fight you are darned sure to lose.
So, I am just upset with the higher ups who keep exhorting imam Hussein and psyching themselves for a fight. I say that warmongers on both sides must cool it. It is not up to them to sacrifice the life of others.

by Bahram G on Wed Dec 28, 2011 06:49 PM PSTThe light you report, my valued friend, is your own reflection looking in the mirror. Stay true and luminous to help our way to the path of renaissance for Iran and wellness for all of mankind.
Thanks for the clip. Now you got me thinking. With tthis kind of naval power and C . H rowing upfront they might be able to cause some damage :-).
As always, it is good to hear from you. Wishing you the best.
Bahram G Jan, No wonder it's so Nooraani here tonight! It's you!
by Oon Yaroo on Wed Dec 28, 2011 05:36 PM PSTThese elements of AMMAMEH are incapable to close down the Kesh around their Tomban much less the straight of Hormuz!
You are 100% right that the 1st wrong move on their part would be tantamount to their entire fleet sinking to the bottom of Persian Gulf!
Here is a short clip on the technology used to drive the ships of the elements of REESH-O-PASHM!

Bahram G the IRI and their Pasdars both commit treason
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Wed Dec 28, 2011 05:28 PM PSTPasdars are IRI's servants, not in service of the people or country, the people mostly now hate the IRGC & police force and courts which enforce their tyranny. However, regarding IRI sinking a large ship to block the narrow passageway, which is less than 1 mile at points. That would be a serious problem and not something 6000 men can fix in a day or two, or a month or two, first they would have to occupy iran entirely and disable all pasdars from being able to launch co-ordinated attacks, that would take at least 4 to 5 days, to end regimes ability to fire missiles at ships/workers. The add another 4 to 5 months removing the ship. Thats the problem, if the IRI did that, it would also be killing many hundreds of thousands of unarmed, innocent iranian people who hate the regime and are being literally terrorized by them. That really sums up what iran is, its like a hostage situation, the cowards/thieves/crooks/murderers have taken over a community at gun point and getting rid of them will only really happen if they make a dumb move, since the USA put them there, at this point the USA will help other hostage takers come in and replace these ones not doing as they have been ordered, but ultimately there is no desire to do anything to help the people to help themselves.
Close your RISHOO yap
by Bahram G on Wed Dec 28, 2011 04:29 PM PSTThat's the wisest thing you can do to save your sorry a.... And the life of innocent people in Iran. The minute you send your tub to dump mine in the Strait, a US minesweeper will be right behind clearing them. A whole bunch of massive firepower is also at the ready to dare you to make a false move. You mine it again and you have pushed your luck way too far. This time around you're giving the US ample cause to sink a few of your junk just to teach you a lesson and possibly goad you to attempt another foolishness. And that would assuredly makes their day and end yours. You sink a supertanker to block the passageway? I understand the fifth fleet can remove the obstacle in a day or two.
You RISHOO bootlickers stop kissing up to the mullahs and show that you are worthy children of Iran. Stop barking and braying to please your turbaned bosses. Those idiots might just believe your HARTO POORT and tell you to make good on your boasts. Think about it and think of Iran. The country you have betrayed for so long by allying yourselves with iran's enemies ---the treasonous mullahs.
