by Soosan Khanoom on Fri Feb 25, 2011 10:26 AM PSTAhmadinejat himself may not have stolen from beytolmal yet but there are many in his cabinet that are super rich .... one even went through majles kind of impeachment process questining his weath....... someone should ask Ahmadinejad where did he got the money for his campain? he was such a unknown figure .... what did happen? better say how did it even happen?
bottom line he may not be a thief himself but people surrounding him kind of are ........ and they sure are billionaires compare to Karoubi
Mr. Karoobi will be remembered
by Amir19 on Fri Feb 25, 2011 09:24 AM PSTfor his efforts to get rid of this tyrannical regime in Iran's modern hostory. No matter what you think of him, one must admire his honesty and bravery to stand against Khameni and his thugs. We can use more people like him. I might not agree with his views on the type of government but I respect his views as long as he respects mine and we will let the majority decide. Don't forget the upcomig Tuesday protests in Iran. Pass on the news!

He is a crook but a stupid one at that.

by Shemirani on Fri Feb 25, 2011 12:35 AM PSTEven if i know he was involved with this bloody revolution, After june 2009 when he spoke loudly about rape case he broke a taboo in a middle ages context.he is brave and honest,he had no interest to do so and he could be silent like allllll others. I respect him for that !Benazaram,Sare piri eshtebahatesho kharid hata age baraye vojdan khodesh bood, kare khoobi kard !
(i never liked none of them not even khatami that many people used to like but there is something different about him)

Fridays are the best time to protest
by Amir19 on Thu Feb 24, 2011 02:30 PM PSTGiven the fact that in Iran all people are free on Fridays and shops are closed and also because all other countries in the region that are finding their freedom have chosen Friday to be the day that they call on people to gather in major squares, it seems obvious that the oppositon must do the same thing. I believe if the Rahe-Sabz and Kalame site and othr opposition sites, ask people to come out during the Friday prayers and show thier oppostion to the regime, it will be more effective and we can get rid of this regime faster.
Keep in mind that the regime usually doesn't want to use force on Fridays because some of his supporters (among them old women and children) go to Friday prayers and they will be hesitant to use tear gas and things like that. If you agree with this strategy please post it on Balatarin (I don't have an account there).
A Show Case, Show Time!!
by Demo on Thu Feb 24, 2011 02:23 PM PST3 street nobody guys in front. Reading of an easy surah (Ala, Section 87) of Quran from the book, A luxury house, Exciting background music! Such a deception @ display! Everything abou Karoubi & Mousavi are fake. There are both parts of a colorful game the regime is currently playing to keep the real dissidents @ the bay!!
I don't Trust Karroubi (or Moussavi)
by ayatoilet1 on Thu Feb 24, 2011 02:23 PM PSTI support the demonstrations, the protests and the effort to bring freedom and democracy in Iran. But I do not support Karroubi or Moussavi. They are a false opposition. They are and have been at the core of IRI's crimes against the people of Iran. Iranians do not be fooled. We can do better, we have higher quality more credible leaders than Karroubi or Moussavi. And those new leaders MUST be elected - not imposed on the Iranian public. Karroubi and Moussavi must go. This new revolution MUST NOT have a figurehead - who comes in and takes control. The contol must lie with the people - only the people.
