AFP: Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Friday called for an Islamic regime to be installed in Egypt, saying the wave of Arab revolts is an "earthquake" triggered by the 1979 Iranian revolution. The all-powerful Khamenei said the Arab uprisings, if successful, would lead to failure of US policies in the region and that the revolts were the most worrying for the Islamic republic's arch-foe Israel as its alliance with Egypt could be broken. "Do not back down until the implementation of a popular regime based on religion," said Khamenei, Iran's commander-in-chief, who switched from Persian to Arabic during his Friday sermon directed at Egyptians >>>

Or, is it just geo-politics for the needy and illiterate ?
What an amazing Iranian freedom fighter
by SOS-FREE-IRAN on Sat Feb 05, 2011 11:48 AM PSTthanks for this post. What a loss to us Iranians. She was so articulate and passionate.
Completely changes the picture for the most recent victim of the IRI. The cocaine was probably a bribe so she could get things done in Iran. As you know the high officials are the biggest distributors of drugs in Iran.
We need to share this vid with everyone.

Uprising/anarchy means an end to $1.5 billion in aid
by SOS-FREE-IRAN on Sat Feb 05, 2011 11:52 AM PSTthere is a faction that wants to see an end to the economic aid Egypt is receiving from the United States. There is a bill in US congress today asking for an end to the $3.5 billion in unconditional aid to Israel. Isn't it ironic, that Israel who doesn't need this money gets it every year, whereas Egypt who needs the money is now being threatened with an end to it.
Why does Khameni get involved? Because he is the arm of British-Israeli Mafia that is ruling Iran and wants to stop economic aid to Egypt. The People are protesting economic conditions and political oppression.
Egyptians should call for a secular constitutional government. they should maintain all the good from the previous regime, in which political parties based on religion were banned!

powerful speech is why they killed Zahra not for having drugs. A hero, listen for yourself. Mr Khamenei, you and your followers are in deep trouble. Killing will only slow but not prevent your demise.

by Roozbeh_Gilani on Fri Feb 04, 2011 05:51 PM PSTGood find shutruk, thank you!
So we know why Egypt is in such a state dont we? From Tunisia to Pakistan, we have all these corrupt islamist dictatorships where people are denied their basic human rights, and the wealth of the nations being looted by a bunch of corrupt, greedy dicators, based on alleged interpretation of what someone said 1400 years ago.
"Personal business must yield to collective interest."
