I used to believe Regime could change from within, peacefully
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Tue Mar 01, 2011 04:00 PM PSTthen the whole election fraud and the treatment of peaceful protestors caused me to stop my train of thought and re-evaluate.
Now I don't believe that will be ever possible, in 10 years or 30 years.
Monarchy appeals to our culture and has widespread, all be it suppressed, support of our masses, and
for 30 years of the younger generation born after the revolution has been only hearing about how much shah helped Iran progress.. unlike with these mullahs which has caused us to regress...
This is a time of change...
Time to give the monarchy serious consideration and get involved with the many monarchist groups both within and out side iran for secular and democratic government.
MY VIEW:
Unless we now ALL start to change our tune from mousavi karoubi to regime change from an outsider, with competent secular supporters, and pursue regime change then we will have all failed at accomplishing anything
Secularism, monarchy and democracy will all failby themselves ad repression will grow
and the biggest loser will be IRAN
and the biggest winner will be religous based groups which are not secular like MEK from outside or the regime from inside iran

by prah001 on Mon Feb 28, 2011 07:43 PM PSTI hate violence - i think peaceful protests and change is the best -however looking at how ruthless and animalistic these barbarians are best way is to destroy all Basiji Bases and then see how strong these mullahs are.

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Mon Feb 28, 2011 01:46 PM PSTWe are not complacent; it anything we are getting radicalized. Remember we have no bombs to drop on Islamists. The USA does however we are not USA. That would take an order from Obama not us.
I see a big difference in the past few years. Iranians are realizing we need regime change. As far back as 4 years ago people like me still thought there was a possibility of reform. Not any more.
Regarding begging of course she is begging. She wants her son saved. But this is not new. My friend at age of 14 got taken and murdered by IRR right after revolution. He mother does not even know what happened. We just assume they killed him and did something to his body. They never had the decency to tell us. But we have learned not to expect decency from Islam. Day by day the worlds sees what IRR stands for.
I would hate to be a Mollah after IRR falls. No where to go and many calling for their heads.
How complacent we have
by Simorgh5555 on Mon Feb 28, 2011 12:30 PM PSTHow complacent we have become. Sitting and watching an Iranian mother begging Islamic brown shirt thugs not to take her son away and tortured, raped or beaten to death in prison while we do nothing. Like I have said a million times before empty gestures of symapthy is not going to help. Writing on Iranian.com how much it pains you to see your fellow countrymen to be beaten up by savage dogs is not going to help. Violence and foce of arms against this regime is the ONLY solution.
To all those who are opposed to violence against the IR why would you care if the revolutionary guard in that video clip is killed by surgical strikes? Why is the life of the scumbag in the video and the hundreds of Basijis and Sapeahs like him worth saving more than liberating Iran?
Drop a bomb on the Sepah and Basij scum and cry 'Besmellah'!

Both Khamenei and US Whitehouse take questions from the public......I e-mailed them both......Khamenei's website e-mailed me back, but Whitehouse ignored my question why Persian Gulf has been changed to Arabian Gulf.
I believe some scribes answer e-mail for Khamenei. His website also posts some frequently asked questions and answers.

Sometimes I wonder.....

Khameneii is the last of long line of dictators in Iran and is the worst. But we need to see this and remember it and remember the painful experience to the next generations.

by prah001 on Mon Feb 28, 2011 12:26 AM PSTi feel guilty watching this in the comfort of my own home in a country that is free (ie. not iran) yet many people are suffering.... who has the heart to do this... they call this Islam well i shit on it if this is islam.

by yolanda on Sun Feb 27, 2011 10:00 PM PSTSuch a heart-wrenching video..............it sums up a whole nation's suffering and IRI's atrocities! Well, apparently the IRI supporters are unmoved....none of them has showed up and said a sympathetic word to this poor mom and his son!
I have sent the video to Khamenei....he needs to see IRI's brutality on video...........he needs to hear this lady's heart-wrenching cry!
This mom has so much love for his son....I wish I could comfort her........but words fail me!
Why Iranians suffer so much?

THIS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND MOST OF THE WORLD
by shahabshahab on Sun Feb 27, 2011 06:50 PM PSTWe sit and watch as long it does not happen to us. Even if it happens to us, it's okay as long as it is not us, even our brother or sister can be taken and we will cry a little and then say, thanks god I am safe!
The neighbors watch. Other people watch and nothing happens. We do nothing.
Other people in other countries, likeI Libya and Egypt are fighting to get rid of their thugs. When are we going to rise up? When? When? When?
The time is now.

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sun Feb 27, 2011 02:23 PM PSTWhat do you mean by civil war. Do you mean IR using the Basiji and Sepah. That is regime violence not civil war. Civil war is a protracted war that goes on for months or years. Maybe there will be war among some ethnic groups; I hope nott,
I imagine a war will be more like the Mollah ruling gang against people. Yes they have a Basiji army but they know Mollahs are rotten also. They are working for money. At the end will the Basiji and Sepah go for a protracted war against the people.
there will be civil war
by asadabad on Sun Feb 27, 2011 01:59 PM PSTthey say that war is the continuation of political discourse by other means. it is a terrible thing to say, but civil war is the only way to resolve the political differences in iran. it is obvious that the political differences are way to great to bridge. if civilized behavior, i.e. elections/parliament doesn't give you the desired result, then obviously war will have to take its course. the iranians government is stupid to encourage revolts in libya, egypt, and tunisia. it is only emboldening their own opposition movement.
i think revol. guards could become much more violent.
by choghok on Sun Feb 27, 2011 01:38 PM PSTthe last time after killing saneh and mohammad they did not use violence that much. And the reason they come up with fake id for jaleh is that they want to play victim. so if people get violent they would play in ahmaghinejads hands.
Of course it is easy to tell what to do from outside, but i just say my observation and i also think people are doing the right thing.
Choghok
by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on Sun Feb 27, 2011 12:58 PM PSTOf course ahmaghi and ali geda want to move people to violence sothat they can find excuse for using even more violence in iran. And wishful thinking like other country doing something for us without having their interest in mind is just plain stupid.
We are past that point my friend. AN and Khamenei do not need a reason to kill people. They will do whatever they want as long as people allow them. I am not an advocate of violence but people may have no other choice by that.
When it happens it will not be us who decide. It is easy to tell people what to do from our safe homes in West. People on the front lines in Iran will decide what is best.Whatever they pick I hope the people win because it will them dearly.
violence is not an answer
by choghok on Sun Feb 27, 2011 12:50 PM PSTOf course ahmaghi and ali geda want to move people to violence so that they can find excuse for using even more violence in iran. And wishful thinking like other country doing something for us without having their interest in mind is just plain stupid.
The people has chosen the right path and that is why regime wants so bad to make things violent and at the same time they do want ordinary iranian that violence is not from their side.
And again mentioning NIAC here by some is strange since they have publicly denounced ahmaghi and ali gedas actions.

I agree
by MRX1 on Sun Feb 27, 2011 10:14 AM PSTThe only way out of this is either U.S/Nato do some stragetic bombing and prevent the flow of IRR oil through persian gulf to shut off these thugs petrol, money and guns or arming the civilan population with guns to take on these goons.

BASEST CRIMINALS
by Ayatoilet on Sun Feb 27, 2011 09:20 AM PSTLooking forward to the day that Islamic Republic of Death's officials and collaborators are banned and treated as Khmer Rouge officials or Nazi's have been treated since WW2. Hunted like animals and hiding like rats. Don't you say "Sargord"?
How much worse can it get?
by Jahanshah Javid on Sun Feb 27, 2011 08:54 AM PSTThese awfully painful scenes have been repeated around the country how many times? Imagine the impact on neighbors, classmates, communities... that's just part of the reason why the Islamic republic is so hated.
