از یک پیام در فیس بوک: در قرارگاه ثارالله غوغا بود. میخوهند از 5 صبح تمام مسیرهای اصلی امام حسین تا آزادی رو قرق کنند. بچه ها می گفتند چه خوب شد آقا واسه پیروزی مردم مصر پیام تبریک نفرستاد، وگرنه اوضاع بد تر می شد. فرماندهان امیدوارند جمعیت آنقدر نیاید بیرون که نتوان کنترل کرد، چون از بالا گفته اند کنترل بکنید اما شلیک نکنید! از سرتیپ همدانی پرسیده شد اگر مردم بیایند میدان آزادی و میدان رو ترک نکنند دستور چیست؟ گفت، برای این حالت طرحی نداریم. امیدوارم اینطور نشود وگرنه خود آقا باید نظر بدهند. همدانی بد جوری به هم ریخته بود و من تا او را به این حال ندیده بودم. ۲۵ خرداد پارسال و عاشورا پارسال اینقدر باعث آشفتگی اینها نشده بود، که من در این چند روز می بینم.

Special Award in Cannes for Panahi in absentia due on May 12th

Cannes Academy hasn't forgotten Panahi. The Carrosse D'Or is a special prize given to director's who have displayed a unique visual contribution to the film art. Previous recipients have been Clint Eastwood, David Cronenberg, and Agnes Varda amongst others. The Award to be attributed in absentia at the next Cannes film Festival on May 12th.
