Parizadeh, the Amsterdam based lifestyle company, have been active in the clothing industry for more than a decade with distinctive yet classic designs. The founder of the company Roshanak Parizadeh was born in Persia where she developed a taste for clothing construction at her mothers vocational school. Countless after school hours there by the sewing machines, helped her in understanding the manufacturing process and pattern making. This led to a very pragmatic approach to design, which is still strongly present in the current creative process >>> parizadeh.com

It is good that Iranians choose non traditional careers
by Anahid Hojjati on Thu Feb 10, 2011 01:57 PM PST24-30 years ago,too many Iranians in Diaspora wanted to be doctor or engineer. It is great that second generation Iranians are choosing from a wider pool of careers. Thanks for featuring Roshanak and her work in fashion design.
