by statira on Tue Feb 08, 2011 08:47 PM PSTI think you're either hallucinating or your age is less than 18( very young people are capable of hearing sounds that older ones are unable to).

by Doctor mohandes on Tue Feb 08, 2011 08:16 PM PSTYou need special skills and senses in order to pick up on that:)
But I couldn't hear it!
by statira on Tue Feb 08, 2011 07:38 PM PSTBtw, God bless Sepahbod Farsiv who was martyred by this terrorist group.

Setting the politics aside for a second, Farhad, the famous singer sang Koocheh Ha in the mid 70’s after the Siahkal incident. It was rumored that in the beginning of the song (0:20) he whispered, “Siahkal, shish ta mard, shish ta savaar!”
We used to sit around the phonograph with other kids of my age and play the song over and over again trying to see if we could hear those words! And once in a while one of the kids would say, “Swear to god, I heard it!”

Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything.

"Had they succeded...."
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Tue Feb 08, 2011 02:33 PM PSTNo. actually it would have been Cuba with lots and lots and lots of oil! would it have been a good or bad thing? purely a matter of opinion. I say a matter of your social class allegiance above all.
BTW, they did succede in a way. within ten years of Siahkal, the Fadaii Khalgh organisation grow from a small group of students to become the biggest ever Marxist leninist party Middle east had ever known. Then came the Revolution, the tragic mistake of siding with khomeini and the division in organisation, when half (so called Majority) joined Tudeh party and followed the "imam's line" almost till the day most of their leaders were arrested and shot and the rest repented on Islamist TV, after receiving some serious torture, islamist style. The minority faction took a diffeent route, opposing the islamist regime and fighting them much earlier, before their defeat.
Someone here made a good point about the Kurdish parties, all left leaning/socialist parties (I reject Rigi's gang as the sunni version of the ahmadinezhad/khamenei gang) starting the fight against islamist regime in 1979, still going on very strongly. Here is the key point, they are well routed and have solid support amongst kurdish people, in particular Kurdish working classes. I doubt if fadaii khalgh enjoyed such support amongst farsi working classes, due to SAVAK's obsession with marxist groups, to the benefit of islamist gangs.
All in all, the enemy won the battle and we lost. But that was just one of many battles fought and to be fought in future. The war is not over yet! Lessons learnt, moving on, history is always on the side of people, the downtrodden.

That was a bummer!
by Ali P. on Tue Feb 08, 2011 01:40 PM PSTHad they succeeded, we would have gotten to live our lives like the life of people in Uzbakistan, Kazakhstan , or China!
Now, ain't that a shame??!
(Aaftaabkaaraan : Nice song though!)

by MRX1 on Tue Feb 08, 2011 10:43 AM PSTup to BBC to make a mountain out of everything. Bunch of punks attacking a remote police station (jandarmeri) in the middle of no where and getting killed in the process and that's a hamaseh acording to BBC. Going by that token then I say Abdolmalek Rigi and jundolah is much bigger hamaseh than this and even bigger hamaseh are the people in Kurdestan fighting this regime relentlesly since 1979.
