Actually JJ, Kish is nothing like Hong Kong a couple of decades ago because back then the city was UK territory - this is why it was more relaxed. I agree you won't see such a display at Khomeini, but then again, what difference does it make? As a matter of fact, as an Iranian I would feel even more alienated from my own culture if I witnessed such a freak show.

culture in the hands of the Islamic Rapist Cultists.  During the time of the late Majesty the Shahanshah, you could read the Shahnameh outside and the Quran inside the confines of your house, your privacy of which was sacrosanct.  During the tenure of these rapists you have to read the worthless Quran outside of the house and the shahnameh in the privacy of your own home, which is no gurantee that it wont be invaded, by the outdated Sharia laws.  Duality of Iranian culture all brought about by Islam, very evident in this video.

Kish is something like what Hong Kong was to Communist China a couple of decades ago. Many things are allowed in Kish, which would be suppressed in Tehran and other cities. You would never see this happening at Khomeini airport.
