I traveled to Iran in search of the story of my grandfather, Hajji Ali Akbar. Along the way I encountered strange foods, activities, and even exercise routines. From Tehran, to Hamadan, to the tiny village of Arzanfood, I uncovered a world many never come across, but still couldn't capture the essence of my maternal grandfather. Finally, I realized the answer was nearer than I had imagined.
