Why is it
by Anonymous Observer on Sun Jul 10, 2011 06:21 AM PDTThat sets on Iran's TV channels look like a cross between a doll house and a Chinese brothel? Can't they apply their hejab "modesty" standard to their TV studios?!!

poor hostess
by bambi on Sun Jul 10, 2011 06:18 AM PDTSuch unstable design. Whoever "designed" it never paid attention to its basic functional aspect. Not only here, but counless other times, I have seen such disregard for function and practicality. They want to go for a certain look, but disregard other factors. There was a wedding I was invited to in Tehran in one of the "bashgah", and I hated the stairs leading to the reception room . First there were at least two flights of stairs, and they were not the standard height, and to make it worse, it was made of rough cobble stone, probably suitable for a mountain cabin. Whenever I travel there, I see countless of these examples on a daily basis. From what I understand a lot of people are studying design now, and I really wonder why I continue to see these.
