he believed in Islamic Republic- said so in his book
by Sheila K on Sat Jun 25, 2011 09:39 PM PDTBani Sadr spent 25 years with Khomeini before coming to Iran after the revolution. He knew him well. He was lying when he said he didn't want an Islamic Republic, but he did and he was a strong believer in state and religion said so in his book My Turn to Speak.
But the man has made some interesting statements and would've been killed if he had not fled the country. I liked what he said to the youth of Iran at the end though. It was the first time I heard an Iranian politician, intellectual, public person to ask the Iranian youth to persue "happiness." That was important.
Leave poles for Mina Mortezai joon
by پندارنیک on Sat Jun 25, 2011 06:35 PM PDTI enjoyed reading A4545 and his passionate remarks, until I reached the last sentence.............Hanging corpses on light poles should not be a part of our outlook for the future.

Doroogh Goo Haafezeh Nadaarad...
by Aarash4545 on Sat Jun 25, 2011 03:03 AM PDTThis opportunist traitor should be court marshalled and hung from his testicles!!
Tha bastard made a pact with the devil out of his greed and magalomaniac self-serving ambitions. He knew exactly what Khomeini was plotting and they plotted together. He "Swore" allegiance to Islamic Republic and "Velayat-e Faghih" during his installation ceremony as president. He is the one who in support of 'hijab' unashamedly stood up in front of the Nation and formulated the most ridiculuous claim of 'radiations' emanating from women's hair that excited men!!! how dare he talk about the sanctity of women's dress???!!!! He is the one that when announcing the attack by Saddam to khorramshahr had a very nasty smirk on his face! Does he think we are so frogetfull?
Leaving all these aside, he didn't even take the opportunity of the one minute free address in Parazit program to apologize to Iranian Nation for his mistakes! This "martikeh-eh Gostaakh" hasn't learnt his lesson after 30 years. I am looking forward to the day he hangs from the light poles of Tehran.
In 1979 was Banisadr.....
by Reality-Bites on Sat Jun 25, 2011 01:07 PM PDTsuffering from Amnesia? When asked what his biggest mistake was, Banisadr replied that he did not know the true character of Khomeini!
So how is it possible that Banisadr was unaware of Khomeini's character? How is it that he was unaware of Khomeini's history?
How is it that when it was obvious what a fanatic and reactionary mullah Khomeini was when he ranted and raved against Shah's reforms in 1962, Banisadr had either forgotten or did not know about this in 1979?
To trust the words of and leave of the fate of Iran in the hands of a backward mullah (a MULLAH for crying out loud) either smacks of gross idiocy or self-serving duplicity, or more probably both. No excuses, Mr Banisadr.
The interview...
by Bavafa on Fri Jun 24, 2011 05:02 PM PDTDamesh garm, that was one of the best "one minute" I heard, fight to full victory with independence, freedom and democracy in sight and aim.

by Benyamin on Fri Jun 24, 2011 04:32 PM PDTI liked the way you finished your show(barname) in this episode. I like the way you said the last words and I like what you said and I like how you said it.
I think the "ghatel" got the message.
Thank you
