Maryam Farnaz Rostami's solo performance in San Francisco

I am a playwright and actor and I'd like to invite you to my first evening length solo performance in San Francisco: Persepolis, Texas: FOBspring to Drag Queen in One Generation! As an Iranian-American and an art-maker, I feel a certain responsibility to showing solidarity with my brothers and sisters living lives of truth in situations where doing so has much higher stakes than anything I've ever known. For this show, my alter ego, Mona G. Hawd will be doing a few drag numbers, and I will take on a cast of characters and use narrative and movement in order to tell this strange story. I'll come see you! Your play sounds like a lot of hard word and very interesting. I remember seeing you onstage in a Golden Thread play a couple of years ago, and I remember you were superb!

I have no idea what she is talking about .... can some one enlighten me please?

Are we going to see Iranian Patrick Swayze playing drag queen?

and one more thing why she is so emphazizing on being the queen not king ?  

I am confused.. well that is not something new cause I am always confused : )
