What they are saying is this: If Iranians want democracy and democratic freedoms in their country, they must get away from their computers and do something. They're saying Iranians are wasting their time debating irrelevant issues. They're saying either Iranians who oppose the regime in Tehran get their act together and unite regardless of their differences or they will not be able to free their country, ever. They're saying while Iran is not free arguing about other unrelated issues amounts to diverting your attention from Iran's problems. They're saying "Internationalism" was a slogan used by communists. They're saying, capitalists are supposed to use the UN to achieve things, but the UN being as impotent as it is, will not do much for Iranians. They're saying while between 5 and 8 million Iranians live in diaspora, why is it that the crowds demonstrating again the IR so small? I hope the above explanation helps!

And as such my comment was very specific and emphasized by the cap letters (ONE time)

I also believe the sadder part is that the West has been rather quite and impotence on this issue, much like about Libya as they just remembered today that they need to act, how pathetic that is!!! USA and the West in general should not be taking a back seat and let Iran to be the leading regime in denouncing these events.

Don't worry Bahrain (a province of Iran)

When the rightful government of Iranian people takes hold in our beloved country, Iranians will bring you back home where you belong, and have belonged for thousand of years. First Iran has to get rid of its criminal occupiers. Once the domestic occupiers are kicked out, we will ask the US to leave the region, and the motherland will take  its rightful role of managing the region as it should. Bahrain is next on the agenda. That's true that they are talking with Bahrain's people, but I am glad that they broadcast these types of speech on the State TV.  It is a kind of awareness for those poor Iranians who live in Iran and have no idea of democracy or their individual rights.

Bahrain is a coward for treating its people as it does, with so much poverty there, and for confronting them as they did. They are dictators, tyrants, and cowards. Shame on them. EVERYONE in the world must speak up on behalf of the innocent and unarmed people of Bahrain who want to be able to participate in a transparent government that represents them and their interests. What has happened there is appalling and disgusting.

But for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and these criminal clerics on this video clip to pretend to care about the people's rights, democracy, and the brutal confrontation of a government with their citizens, is really rich.

Where have these clerics been over the past two years, when mostly Shia Iranians have been brutally suppressed, murdered, imprisoned, tortured, and hanged, some deprived from education, many pushed to leave their country, and their families intimidated, insulted, and occasionally imprisoned and prosecuted? Where was Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi to wonder who paid for journalist Mohammad Davari's mother's food, since her only son was imprisoned for documenting the Kahrizak travesty and now his teacher's income has come to a halt? Does he sleep well not worrying about "namaaz khoon" people such as Ahmad Zeidabadi and Heshmatollah Tabarzadi's children having no income to support them?

Why couldn't Sistani and the rest of these fat cat clerics take a stand vis a vis what the Islamic Republic of Iran did and continues to do to its own citizens?

We already know about Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his politics, but the other bearded and turbaned gentlemen can just shut their big mouths and return to their abacuses to do their trade math. Nobody has any hope of any remaining morality from these lot.
